ok - i apologize for the delay. I could not release something i was not sure of. This is my proposal, that i think will work:

descension is accomplished when one ascended being 'bests' another, down to zero life/reserve life.

a 'one on one' attack can happen anytime, but any defensive army steps in to stop it....damage on the attack goes to ascended being first, then army.

the ascended being att/def is worth about 1mil times regular army, judged by 'action points'.

an ascended fight will ensue, if all other defenses are broken. it will be one on one.

IF a being loses all its life and reserve life, it is descended.

IF a being is descended, it gets 1 week protection on the ascended realm.
It cannot be descended again for 1 month.
it gets descended on main server, losing all ascended bonuses for ONE MONTH.

When one month is up, normal main bonuses return; ascension returns to normal (can be attacked personally).

This is the basics. Comment away

Why not descend them one level at a time or some multiple rather than all ? Though I admit the idea of a full loss of bonuses does appeal.

Oh dont get me wrong im not saying that descension should be permenant i think Forums ideal is perfect. If people were fully descended once and forced to descend again it would ruin some peoples main accounts that have reached living god +1 or more and have a huge UP. Also agree if you go vacation on one server you should be on vacation on both servers.

Oh and phoenix yes my memory isnt all that great when ascension first came available very little was known about it.All this being said I think forum has got it right already and dont need our input lol

If it's entirely possible, when you get decended, why don't you just lose 1001 G&R points?

So if you're decended 4 times, you lose all your bonuses to 0, and can't get them back until you get 4000 G&R.

Go negative if you have to.

But if you've been decended once, get -1001 G&R, and then work back up, and you have, say, -201 more, then are decended again, it will increase (or decrease..not to sure ) to -1201, and you start collecting your way back up to 0 again.

The point I'm trying to make is that if you're decended, don't empty the account premadently and start over again, that defeats the purpose of your work, why not just keep everything, but lose your 'Ascended God Powers' your tech, fortifications, unique, etc.

Forum can go along with the idea of "temporary descension" if he desires, but there will be literally no incentive to utilize it anyways. Myself and quite a few people who actually worked *hard* to build up good ascended accounts are not going to give up all that work to descend someone for 1 month. Comon! Do you think someone like Juan or another superpower really gives a flip to lose 5% for one measly month? People like myself have worked hard on our accounts to keep ourselves from being descended and losing all our benfeits!

What the heck is the point of the ascended server if it becomes just like main, where you cant really ever be defeated?

problem: top 110 ranked you get 5 gp (which is pretty easy, all ya need is bout 150bil and you can make it in a ppt run) ->so only a lil over 4 days needed tt get the 1001 again.

If you can lose it all in a day in both games, what is the point in even playing? Might aswell sell all my stuff now..

Just because you worked hard in ascension doesnt mean you should be able to kill lots of other people.. and like I said before.. you were not one of the first to ascend crimson, we had no idea there would even be desension and back then it was not as easy as it is now, it cost a hell of alot.

you lose them ALL for a month

so if a living god+1 was descended it WOULD BE A BIG DEAL

being 30% weaker in each stat is a big deal no matter what anybody says....and as forum said

you can keep de-scending them month after month so they would be weaker then the 4 base races until the end of time!!!!!!!!!

But if you're strong enough, you deserve the 'right' to be 'safe' from decension for very long.

People, and I'm making the point, don't want their hard work to be flushed...if you got decended, you'd be mad because you lost everything and were 'defeated'...I'm just speaking for the minority.

That sounds like incentive for people to just leave compleatly, or start a new account.

the main suggestion is that you would loose one level of ascention each time. meaning it would take 6 months and a whole heap of turns and DM to do it.

I never said it would all go foever at once, if you looked closer i said they wouldnt want to get stripped of their LG title and not get it back, i completly understant what others are saying I just disagree with it...

Nothing that happens on ascended should have a permanent effect on main
