Ok i noticed long ago that in spy logs you don't get shown the real value (what it adds up to when you see it in your comm. center). I therefore always assumed it is the base value, which you have to multiply by the size.
But this time when i stole a planet in my intel logs it showed strength just under 300 mil and when i had it in my command center it's strength was about 370 mil. the size is larger than very small. which means that if my first theory was correct this should have increased to 500-550 mil (including the bonus that gets destroyed).
BUT if the spy logs show you the real value. why is the bonus i get higher than the bonus i see in the logs
Planet bonus in spy logs vs. Reality

so basically there is no point in spying to find out what value it gives you because it could be off by miles?
but why do i see then people having 4 bil extra covert on their planets in my spy logs. if it is, like you say before you make facilities.

So If you spy on someone who has a small defence, say half yours, and you steal the planet from them, if the planet has enough def power, it will give you double the defecne bonusl points it gave them.
My $0.02
that doesn't affect its attribute value. When you spy on someone you see the maximmum value you will be granted.
Seems your two cents are not too accurate.
