i know im gonna be scolded for this but....
do MS shields actually do anything? because when i massed huxley my MS defence was 2.6bil higher than his MS strike action, yet he destroyed nearly 130 shileds per hit. and i was attacking!
and clarity you can provide on this would be greatful.

when ms is used to raid/atk both ms tradeshot with each other (regardless who initiates the atk). a weak enemy atk str wont do much to yours, a medium strong atk enemy ms will do some damage. it all depends on relative strenght of their ms atk and your sheild str (ie number of sheilds erected)

who needs submarines anyway, those little black boats just keep sinking under the water anyway.

What your experiencing has been an issue since the very introduction of the M/S.
Basically, massive shield loss is unavoidable, unless you are fighting an absolute scarecrow of an enemy M/S. It's something that no one really liked, but have gotten by with.
There really is no solution. M/S shields take the hits to protect your M/S weapons, so they are necessary, but they are extremely damage prone.
