Bombardment: This was an idea bounced around a while ago to completely obliterate people. Well, I think I may have found a compromise. It takes 12 hours to get there, and 12 hours to get back. Once its there it will do its weapons damage to miners, lifers, and offensive and defensive bases. Again chance it would totally fail. (the hyperspace generator isn't working properly, someone sabotaged the weapons) If the opponent has a mothership in orbit, it will counter-attack the attacking ship with full force, recieving no damage.
Planet Defense: Tired of taking that planet only to have it retaken, and all your mothership does it sit around and watch. Well, here's the deal. For 24 hours your ship will defend one of your planets. The ship doesn't have to be recharged (as in after 24 from the last attack) to defend.
The one called Looking for friends i like. a real small percent tho.
The one called Peace i dont like so much.
The one called Raiding could be of mercs, not miners. If miners were to be chosen how about it was a good percent of on hand UNTRAINED units.
The one called planet defence i love. it as what i expected a MS to do as soon as we got planets.
I propose
Weapons Raid*
Super Trained Units Raid
Mercanary Raid
UU Raid (as opposed to miners)
Planetary Defence
* Not so keen on it, but meh :p
The Mercanary raid one would be popular for those that cant buy mercs on the market cause they are always taken at the begging of the turn.
MS can be used as a attacking force in the mentioned options once per day, at a cost of 25 turns? (half a days worth of turns, maybe a full day worth of turns...)

Come on guys, there are some solid ideas here. Sound off?
Looking for friends: Brings back a few Super units or mercenarys with random weapons. Would only bring a few. maybe a base number of 200 and plus or minus 100 random chance. And it'd be random weapons, not nessicarly the best. I don't want this to tuen into a another making the strong stronger deal, so definalty, no more than 1000 units max.

Ok well i like that idea but then people that want to hang onto a really really good planet and have a MS with huge amount of shields and weps will suck to attackers,
I suggest that the MS can defend the plaent for 24 hours but then it cannot defend the planet again for another 24 hours after that

I must disagree sorry. Whiles yes, it would be good for defending one planet, but it's only one planet after all, no matter how good, it's easier to have 3 planets of the same type (cept UP, cause there so rare), and have them equal a "super" planet, then have one super planet, seeming as how the costs go up

i think that you should either:
Remove the Bombardment completly
OR
Make it cost ALOT. Im not sure i like the idea of setting a ms to defend a planet and then someone comes in and destroys everything i have. How about you add ranks into the equation? Like raid? (not sure how many ranks below yourself you can go to raid, but use that idea.)
So the really powerfull players can't completly destroy the semi-powerful/mid class players.
maybe make it so you have no turn generation while doing these missions? Then you won't get someone Perminatly defending planets (keeps the planet stealing in the game, but at a reduced effectiveness.)
