I was just wondering what the purpose of clicking your own link is. does it provide some kind of bonus??

gives you an extra untrained unit. you can do this every day if you like.

And in the early stages, get as many people as you can to click on it, for a quick boost in power. This is more important in the beginning of a quantum wave. In all other cases, there's quicker ways of getting units.

And one more thing, be careful with that link. Don't post it on these boards, don't post it in the chatroom. You can give it to your friends and allies, as long as you don't annoy people with it. And don't even think of signing up for a specialized clicksite (like Yarold). It may well end up costing you units instead of adding them.
