I am Hydro Star and I have just recently joined the ranks of the Replicators. I have a question which I have not been able to find a solution for in any Replicator database. I will list it below.

My main question is, what do you do while your waiting for another turn? I can adjust and update everything I need to be ready for the next turn in about 1.5 mins. This leaves me 28.5 mins that are not in use, this is highly unefficent and is interfering with my primary order.

Well that is extremly simple! You wait!

But wait! When your account grows, you'll need to spend more time and when you set your heart to attacking it might take one turn or more. I don't attack anymore, so I just wait.

PLus you don't have to online all the time. Login, bank, do your stuff, logout and login again after a while. Depending on yor defense and cover action, I suggest you find out a min and max time out.

Min time out is when you have enough naq that you might cathch someones eye and max is when you'll have too much naq and it's the last time to bank it.

When My account was new I let it set for month or so. Not neccesary but it gave me lots of AT to come and build it when I was ready, now days it seems I need to be on 24/7 ...

Yeah, the game is pretty slow at first. Find something else to do and check it about once a day at first to use your turns to get naq for UP, gradually you'll need to spend more time on it, but it's really really slow in the beginning.

take your time and find a good CO who takes on noobs...^_^

then your CO helps you get market SS and watever...

then you buy turns of the market...
and you log on 24/7

I remember when I first started playing...
My day became divided into 30Min segments.

As suggested, seek out a good commander quickly, and do something profitable while waiting (other than just staring at the screen).

ya the first few weeks can get time consuming as u dont hav sufficient def/cov etc. once ure safe enough in trusting that u wont get atkd, it gets less time consuming

I wouldn't get a commander right off the bat... I'd farm for UP and get your UP at least 1k first, that way you'll have enough UU at your disposal to build a defense big enough to hold the extra naq you get. If you don't, you'll just become a farm for others and then it's hard to get anywhere. That's the primary reason I haven't had officers in a while... they just end up getting farmed non-stop and I hate seeing my naq go to waste.

yeah... but if you get a CO...

then your CO would probably give you enough naq to build a decent defense and get a mothership...o_O...

Giving them naq doesn't do any good. They have to learn how to support themselves or they won't stick around long.

You know the old saying, "Give a man a fish and he eats for one day, teach a man to fish, and he eats for a lifetime." I might be off a little bit, but that's the basics of it. If you just give them naq, they won't know how to get their own or what to do with it when you're not around.

I've had several officers that just couldn't keep up with the naq they got, and ended up having to put them on 10% just to keep them from losing more UU from getting farmed than they made in one day. This is from ASCENDED players too... and I'm not even ascended yet. Hah. That made it a waste of time for me to even have officers because the UP boost wasn't worth it at all. I decided I was better off just using the naq for upgrading my own UP, at least I get something in return lol.

yeah...but I take on noobs who seem like they might be intested...

I've given billions out... to help people get a jump start... and some of them did pretty well~~^_^

I got a jump start myself when my CO bought me my MS and serveral spy levels...^_^ ... so I believe completely in that theory

and also... If some are great strategists, but they need naq to just start off... and if they invest in UP or defence, they can actually get somewhere coupled with a good CO's advice~~

I didn't get a CO myself until I had about 2.5k UP and 50k or so army size. I probably could have had a quicker start if I had picked up a CO sooner, but I chose to use my time to read up about the game more first heh. I was also lucky enough to have a RL friend that gave me advice and eventually became the only CO I had for a good while.

These days I prefer not having a CO because I like the self commander UP boost.

I stay with my CO for the sheer sake of staying with my CO...

I jioned up with him a week after I started the game...

he sped up my growth alot~~
