Hi.

For newcomers to ask questions to the other users... this section will usually answer most questions... requesting resources (naq/UUs/ATs) is not to be done here...

A different recommendation for starting out...

Don't worry about UP for a bit. Raiding is a better and faster way to get the uu that you will need for a while.

First though, train 1 attacker and by him a squirt gun of something so that you can hit 0 defense targets successfully.

Second, buy a spy level or two and train a couple spies. The spies will let you find a target with 0 defense and a bunch of naq out.

Third, find that target. If you want something to do with the 28.5 minutes ... use it here. If you look through page after page of account (start page 500-600 or something), you will eventually find someone with no defense and 200+mil out. Spy him to verify 0 defense (if he has ???? for army or treasury he has too much covert for you). It would also be good to avoid Asgard as they have a tech upgrade that will make you waste turns occasionally.

Fourth, attack this target with 15 turns. If you don't have 15 turns, wait.

Fifth, Use the naq, quickly, to a) upgrade your attacker to a super, b) buy him the best weapon, c) Buy some covert levels d) train remaining uu into spies, e) buy your tech upgrades.

Note: tech upgrades are optional here - I just like to do it. You do want to get the mercenary control upgrades though because they will go up when you start adding to UP.

You STILL don't need defense because you won't hae anythig worth taking for a while.

Instead, use your new covert to find a different target. Now you want 0 defense and lots of uu out. UU (untrained units) show up on the spy report as untrained regulars. (Untrained supers are miners). You want 30k+ uu out or so. Raid this target with 15 turns and you will get anywhere from a low 500 to 1k uu. Train these into spies and miners.

At this point, you should have 1 super attacker with a super weapon, spy level 13-14 with at least 100 spies, and the rest miners. Keep going like this. Every once in a while hit for naq, but mainly raid for uu and train them into miners. Yor income will keep going up this way. If you don't let more than 100 mil naq pile up you should be left alone almost always by even the newbiest newb.

Keep building up miners and spies as you get turns. When your account has been around 2 weeks you can get supporter status in the market. You'll have plenty of miners to untrain by then to trade into the market. The market then will allow you to trade naq or uu for turns. You should be able to make more from these turns than they cost you. Recent market changes will slow this up though.

Also note, as you search out and find targets, declare war before attacking or raiding. There are two purposes to this. First, you get more naq or uu from them when you have declared war first. Second, this creates a hot list for you to use in the future. Under the attack tab you can list by relations to see your enemies. These will be accounts you have found that are worth attacking/raiding. You can search for targets and declare war when you have time even if you don't have turns to use at the time. You'll run into a limit of times you can spy, but it'll fill some of your time hunting up targets.

THERE! Not sure why I took the time to write all that out... but it will work well. Good luck!

My day became divided into 30Min segments. :P

As suggested, seek out a good commander quickly, and do something profitable while waiting (other than just staring at the screen).

Well my day is devided into 3 hour segments! But my memory seems to be fading as I sometimes find myself logging after 4-4,5 hours. 3,5 is still good, but anything more is just suicidal. But eh, at the beginning my day was also 30 min segments!

Id be happy to take on 1 additonal officer. if they need one. I have 2 officers set to 30%, and still make 62mil turn.
