Goa`uld vs System Lords

This thread is made for you to post here all your opinions about these two races and to help me and other Goa`ulds decide if we will ascend to System Lords or not.

->what have the Goa`uld and don`t have the System Lords, who has better technologies, talk about theyr special technologies, etc.

->about ingame experience: it`s is better to be a Goa`uld or System Lord (bring arguments, not just say for example "System Lords are better because they are ascended")

Goaulds have the unique, SL dont.
Goaulds income is better, you need messiah level to equal it I think
Goaulds covert is bad, SL have better one
Goaulds have God/Elder God title, SL dont.

You have 2 points for the Goa`uld and only one 1 for the System Lords. The title don`t count, because it doesn`t advantage you with anything isn`t it?

What about the units strenght? If you compare a Goa`uld and a SL that have the same strike power, who will suffer more casualties?

SL weapons are stronger, but expansiver
SL get ascended blessing after certain lvl of ascension reached
SL have free bank aswell

Goa`uld also have free bank now (i don`t know if in the past they had a tax, because i`m quite new to the game), i can deposit without the 5% fee being taxed.

Of course, the weapons of the SL are 2 times stronger but 4 times more expensve (is it?), but in case of equal power (to the last bit) who will win and who will suffer more casualties? Are the goa`uld advataged with theyr converting technologie who will regain some of theyr lost units or the SL with a possible better unit strenght and less who get killed?

goauld have the unique. goauld have better income but SL has better covert. Also i think that people should at least consider the offer made by .

goa'uld get 25% bonus to income
goa'uld have racial tech allowing you to pick up some free UU.

SL get 5% bonus to income/att/def/covert for each ascensiot up to 30% (Thus, after your reach LG, you have the same income as goa'uld plus the 25% bonus in your other stats as well)
SL get better weapons (fewer troops needed, harder to sab, slightly better power/cost ratio iirc)
SL get ascended blessing after enough ascentions (random chance of doubling attack)
SL get more powerful fleets

Ultimately, I'd say ascend if you want to play on the ascended server.

Tough choice to take if i were after you.

I would give the ascended blessing for the converting technologie and be a unique System Lord with converting technologie.

I see that everyone that replyed and is a System Lord, has told the advantages of being a SL. Is there someone who regrets the ascention to SL, who liked the goa`uld better and who would like to be again a goa`uld? If it is, what are the regrets?
