i cant spy but i still have: Covert Capacity 20 : and it wont let me spy/sab, when i try the pg go's white and nothing comes up and it freezes.


is this a bug?

Sounds like you are just out of covert capacity. When you get the white screen check your command cennter page and see how many covert capacity you have left.

really? i never knew that, and i've been spying on people daily for the past 9 months. hmm, why hasn't it happen to me? oh well, i learn something new everyday.

Same problem here. I was able to spy perfectly for a while, but just now I got a blank spy2.php. Covert capacity at 45. And it's only happeneing with one account.

Looks like there's something wrong with it because usually accounts in the 20000's don't do devastating damage, but this one held off my attack. Accounts in the 20000's shouldn't have those kinds of stats as far as I know. I would check on it but I can't spy.

As i already said, someone has obviously sabbed him recently to his limit meaning even if you personally have covert capacity left HE DOES NOT.

As for people with low ranks having huge defenses then that is simply because he has no attack weapons and a pitiful covert, probably no MS either. Rank is worked out by adding all your stat ranks together, so 1 very nice stat can easily be "hidden" by 3 terrible stats resulting in his 20k rank and you being crushed with devastating damage.

As far as I know, the result you get when this happens is the "That realm has had so much covert activity against them even your own intelligence officer knows about it"-message, not a sparkly white page of nothingness. So either way, it's still a bug. PS, I know how the ranking system works, but I believe at rank 20k, all your stats pretty much have to be at rock bottom.

Edit - Guess I was wrong. Defense stats have skewed so much that a pretty decent defense doesn't really net you a good defense rank. Spying the guy worked again after some time so it WAS probably the covert protection.

the white page is what appears instead of the "that realm has too much covert capacity" page. A long time ago now some changes happened resulting in the white page. Yes, it is a "bug", but since we all know what it means (most of us anyway) then i get the impression it's bottom of the list for fixing by Forum. If you check the bugs forum you will see other threads reporting this going back for several months, if not longer.

same thing happens when you try to repair unbroken weapons.. no problem .. it is just a missing page.. maybe jason removed it for a reason such as to stop a bigger badder bug ..
i think thats what he did my memeory thinks its soemtihng liek that .
