All right, a follow-up on the wholly remarkable Guide:

(That is going to become the default main page, as far as I'm concerned, when ZPMMaker unlocks the article.)

Anyways, I'd like to know what other articles should fall under the Recommended Readings on the bottom. So, if you're a newbie and would like to request an article, please add it under the list and someone will see the red link and go about writing about the article, probably me.

Or, if you're a long-term veteran and know what type of FAQ would be helpful to newbies, then please, either pm me about the topic, post here, or add it to the list.

Please people, we need all the help we can get.

Sticky? Ney, I don't see this to be something of worthy to be stickied.

To be honest, I'm not too entirely sure about the future of the SgW-Wiki, nor am I sure of it's status in Forum's eyes. It's not official, unless I'm mistaken, so until Forum Almighty speaks his words, I'll just quietly work on this little project.

i was thinking along these lines too... not a forum. not a newsletter....but a somewhat frameworked collective knowledge repository that can serve as newsletter, entertainment, chronicles of past deeds, official history, general knowledge, etc...

here are my requirments:

1) someone who knows the management of the tool... (yes it is a tool like forums, can be hosted on our site, etc...)

2) someone, or someones, to take an ownership role in it... set up the framework/basics, and be there to help its use.

3) someone to explain to me what needs to be done to install it. i assume after install, its all web interface/permissions like forums are.

here is what i will give:

1) access to a SGW url for the wiki for one or 2 that can manage the config, etc --or the install - assuming its like that. see point #3 above.

2) anything else you need that is in my power and 'safety level' to give. ie - that i feel ok doing without compromising anything else.

here is what i ask:
power is not horded... each alliance, for example, can create their own entry/story/histroy etc... how it is managed - see points above. if it is to be, it is to be as free for one, as all... albeit someone i guess needs to 'ok' the inputs... again - not 100% clear on how it works....

short story - someone is willing to do the work to get it going, i'm willing to give them what they need to do it

The above would imply a secret Wiki that Forum will hopefully release to the public. Sadly, Forum did not choose me to be in on this little Wiki, but oh well.

Anyways, just because Forum is working on one, doesn't mean that we have to sit idly and pray and pray for this to be finalized, finalized, soon, soon. (lol, sorry) Atleast to my knowledge, all the existing articles will be painfully transferred over to Forum Almighty's world.

Regardless, we have a cool wiki from Wikia and it'd be a pity if it's not being used. If I'm going to kill time, why not do it with a smile and in enjoyment.

All in all, if you think I should be the president, I so totally agree. =)
