I agree completely, keep it tasteful. school tech people can be such beeatches when it comes to game playing. one dude even had his account on another game deleted be a school employee while he was in the bathroom, lol.

I have ad-blocker software, so I couldn't care less for myself. HOWEVER, if any of the ads are NSFW*, there's a major problem.

For those that didn't get the acronym, highlight below (so as not to insult people's intelligence):
*Not Safe For Work, a general term encompassing "anything you wouldn't want your boss to see on your screen"--also generally extended to "anything you wouldn't want a child to see"

I totally agree about having ads up there BUT, Don't Put porn Ads..... especially not on the header.. at my first refresh I got a girl but up showing her thong. it makes it hard for school....

I'm fine with the ads if they help bring revenue into the game and allow a better, faster server. Maybe you should put in a section where members could list the kinds of things they are interested in so the ads served were more on target? Just a thought...

Everyone needs to be reminded to click on the ads from time-to-time as well. I'm sure Forum is only getting paid when people access the ad, not just when they are served. If you see something that interests you, click on it and help out the site.

I have turned them off, and would be willing to turn them back on under one condition. I was just doing my thing here on SGW, and all of a sudden, I hear a commercial. My TV has got the show on, not the commercial... Where is this strange advertising noise coming from. Hey look, its a banner ad!
