Speaking as someone who owns every episode ever made of both series - YES. The truth is they are both very good, but family guy is slightly funnier.

futurama, by a country mile... family guy is funny but its not brilliant, interchangable jokes that are really really similar, if i hear "like that time" on it again im gonna punch the tv... and they dont even parody that simple plot device themselves... anyway, futurama has a sense of humour that takes a lil while to get into but one ya do its hilarious... two examples-
1st example-
ranger: hi, im ranger parks the park ranger.
fry: i get it!

2nd example-
zoidberg: then something amazing happened, why not.

also futurama has a helluva lot more replay value, like simpsons you can watch the good episodes a hundred times and still bust a gut laughing at them.... family guy, if youve seen an episode once youve seen it enough times, it relies on shock value for alot of its jokes...
