yea, hes a weasel... and there are no other baltar copies, cos yknow the council of the cylons, where they vote on things, theres two of all the other cylons (apart from the guy messin with starbuck) and no baltar... if he was a cylon youd imagine hed be on the council.

Indeed! I can scarcely believe it.

unless they don't want him to know that he's a cylon.

why would they need baltar? couldnt they just put a surveillance device on galactica, surely sharon couldve done that when she was there... or the other six that blew herself up... i dont think baltars a cylon, i think he thinks he is because hes trying to justify to himself how he could sign that death warrant and how he has screwed humanity so many times, if he thinks hes a cylon then he could live with himself because hes not evil and the greatest traitor of mankind ever, hes in fact a cylon and was only doin what his programming made him do... six in his head could well just be his own insanity, he hasnt gotta tumour but he might be horribly schizophrenic.

Indeed! I can scarcely believe it.

Col Tigh is the perfect example of a human. He cares, he loves, he hurts.
What show have you been watching? The moral fiber of the man is tearing apart as he deals with the demons of his personality. He is clearly in love, even though he has tried to bury that under his sarcasm and intellectualism. And since when is self-preservation not a human quality? And yeah, if you think that's why Baltar is helping the Cylons, I think you're flat out wrong.
Hammy...Yes, we've seen the "Council" where there are two of each models. But we've only seen seven out of the twelve models. There are five others that we haven't seen and whom the others "Don't speak about." You can't argue that he can't be a Cylon just becuase we haven't seen Baltar as a Cylon copy.

I was refering to How Tigh got his stuff togeter in the end of the latest episode and came to save Bill, that's the greatest human quality right there. The ability to look at your worst nightmare and fall into the deepest depression to the point of self destructive behavior and managed to pull himself back together instead of wallowing in his own self pitty.
He didn't do it right away but come on the man KILLED his wife, that's gotta mess with your head. It took him some time, he is after all only Human.
Isn't the Hybred (the base star) Cylon the 8th cylon and there are four or did I misunderstand that?

BSG is literally the best written show on TV imo. Can't wait to see the next one - looks like its gonna be an incredible showdown.

I personally didn't like the show and SG seemed to be much more of my taste. It was aiming for part-realism from the beginning(most of stuff can be explained scientific, heck, even shielding isn't unreal thing). Never liked any show that tried to play the future of humanity(i.e 500/1000 years after our era) - simply it is just impossible to know how will humanity evolve(if at all) and all of it seems too much of fiction than science.
But again, it's only my taste. The best TV show ever written for me is Prison Break... SG goes far into the list after shows like "Firends" or "Married with children"(the El Bundy stuff) and so on. BSG being in lines with Star-trek in the very bottom.

who am I ?
Spoiler
I am an ancient SGW player (from the time it was still called SGW), I have been playing since the 4th month, & I've made a name for myself by heavily farming ,raiding & trading - up to 16 hours a day. I was one of the first to reach the first raiding limit: 75 mill, I've had my share of battles & of military brotherhood with the great Dirty Dozen & got some good thrills in battle with Blahh, from The Legion).
Now, I am mostly retired from in-game fighting ,as RL is keeping me VERY busy & most of my friends from the old DD have left SGW.

Starbucks dead. oh lord say it aint so. although the whole thing was a bit stupid, she killed herself becuase she "wasnt afraid anymore". what a jiff. since when were fighter pilots allowed take their own lives, i thought they were obliged to fight for and protect the galactica until they were killed. and also shes obviously gonna come back in some capacity, any speculations on what that could be?
oh and reaver, baltars not a cylon.
