it's becomming a bit nuts now on the market, as a small player I can't realy grow (independantly), less than 700 attack turns for over 3 bill naq only suits players with armies of 15 mill + , small fry like me are struggeling and that's without even being in a war.
Don't get me wrong, it's great to see attack turns on the market, but not being able to afford them is painful.

Listen up i'll say this once.
The market is set up that you can make a profit. So being small doesn't matter. you see a problem well for 3 bil yes it's expensive so your going to need to increase you bank well go find some fat raid target and do that. It doesn't matter that it hard to find, that's life you have to be better and luckier to get ahead. As for your turns you are able to farm all those player that have left the game or don't have a defence to more then pay for your turns. It's a matter of smart playing. This is a War game you get ahead by attacking, as for wars draining your resources well play the smart war, farm the guy ever turn instead of massing him, raid him instead of massing him. THERE ARE OPTIONS!

Hardly well said at all!
It is easy for high empty to find 'some fat raid target' because he has the power and resource to be able to find it and raid it - newer players don't because they do not have teh power to hit for large amounts of naq, and do not have the resources to trade on the market.
I'm sorry, but the argument doesn't work.

LOL oh my now things make sense,
Wolf i NEVER us my power to find FAT raid targets. I raid inactived all below rank 15k. ( i don't see any reason why anyone smaller can't do it either) as for the massive use of resources well i'am just doing it on a very large scale, 1000 targets at a time. But it's not about power it's plainly about the brute force method of finding targets, it's called test everyone, then only raid the ones that get me 100%-200% profit. My so called tested results in profits but only normally of 20%.
You really should love to raid it's the only way to improve your account quickly without asking for a hand me down.

From a growing players point of view whos resources are limited
(1) I can't compete growth wise with much larger players (over 20 mill miners) to buy MT's to raid or to buy UU directly, it's next to impossible.
(2) The market has grown worse since my last post, Attack turns are now 600 per 3.44 bill naq. So now I'm in a worse position than before growth wise having lost 25% of my buying power based on the market quantities and price.
(3) Since there's less attack turns per MT at a higher cost the cost of buying MT's has increased from 3 bill to 5 bill.
I miss the days when you could buy 5k attack turns for arround 12 billion, but I was much smaller in those days....
I guess the Small to medium players will never get on an equal footing unless they are prepared to pay cash for resources but as I remember Forum was anxious that we move away from that route as it caused nothing but problems with
(1) Goods not being delivered
(2) cash not being paid
(3) Game accounts being swindled from players
Inflation is a terrible thing, We have enough of that in real life, a game is supposed to be a break from Real life.
Forum, please bring some reasonable stability to the market

look at it this way... if you raid... and you dont have much naq... you sell your UU for naq and will have enough for next weeks market turns...
if in 7.5kAT you can make 100kUU and enough left over for you to keep then to be honest you need change your limit that you raid down to...
TheRook
when I first started playing I was all about UP/raiding/selling UU for naq and buying more UP/raiding and selling UU if you think you can just raid/ build your UP from the beginning and try to fund yourself your making your job incredibly difficult!

Hi Rook, I raid an average of 100k UU per 3k attack turns,
I don't have a lot of time to become a businessman in this game, I don't think it was ever envisaged that way, after all it's Stargatewars, not StargateBusinessPractices.
I'm a normal person with a family and a job, I can't spend every waking moment playing the game, as it is I think I'm spending a bit too much time on it atm.
If I follow what your saying it makes sence, but only for a pure game addict with nothing else to do.
After all this is a Game, and as such should be enjoyed that way.
I'm hoping that a combined static/flexible market will be introduced for certain goods

i have to say the market is a pain the price is high
and thought his doesnt effect me it does effect the smaller players
maybe some sort of limit for rank as to the cost of turns for player
but this raises many other issues
im not a genious but the market does need to be altered
