Solution for Caps!

i will point the problems, THOSE CAPs r making the game BORING!
after MONTHS playing a game, its SAD when u catch u self without no way to GO. BORING! what worth catch the BIG guys, when u finaly catch there nothing else to DO?

FIST, the last UPGRADE don't Actualy HELP no1, and bring too much pain for every1!

FOR TURNS, well, the 10k CAP with the brokers working (+ 30k), was working petty well, IF u PLAN u can get 50k if don't 10K, THATS means u had to PLAN every time u buy ATs, that need STRATEGY AND SKILLs, SO IT WAS A GOOD THING.

FOR UNITS, Same HERE, before u coude "GET" over the 50MILL cap and reach 4X(50 MILL - LIFERS) + LIFERS, thats was a good chalenge, u had to always watch u LIFERS #, thats requeired a PLANIG u steps, and EVERY TIME u USED THAT, means TONS more LIFERS for u(untrain e retrain LIFERS)

SO, before the LAST upgrade the caps was a chalenge, NOW its only anoying! THE fist STEP to put the game BACK in TRACK in go back in the last UPGRADE.

WOUDE be NICE have FORUM more AROUND to see when he MAKE a MISTAKE and FIX IT, OR EXPLAIN why the GAME need those UPGRADES!

ANOTHER problem that we CAN use the CAPS to SOLVE is the ASCENSION ACTIVITY, DESACENSION will only place tons of acounts in VOC mode, so i HAD this idea....

ADD, 3 more Abilities in the POWER UP page. they are

-Shell Realm Sanitary Capacity
it will make THE original CAP on ARMY go UP by X%
same price as charisma levels

-Shell Realm Turns Capacity
it will make THE original CAP on Turns go UP by X%
same price as charisma levels

-Shell Realm Market Capacity
+ 1 slot on the TRADE Broker
cost start for 250k LF and double each time u buy.

THIS upgrade will NOT GIVE more power to ASCENDED, but will make the life easier in MAIN, its not TOO good, BUT will MAKE ascension WORTH PLAY.

AND PLEASE GET RIDE OFF THE ACENSION # CAP, thats pointless!

even-tho this is something that would help psicolix ALOT more then me, i agree with the spirit of it

I like his suggestion, and this would cause more people to play ascended

and all those people that have been playing for 1+ year in ascended and working on stats, they should benefit more then a person that doesnt do anything in ascended.

I am behind something like what psicolix is suggesting, good idea.

In your opinion. In my opinion, and the opinion of many others - the game became boring long ago (and mainly due to the excess availability of turns) - what Forum is trying to do now, I believe, is get it back on track.

You say maybe the last upgrade (not sure which one you actually mean) brings pain to everyone - I haven't noticed any! You also said it doesn't help anyone - maybe it's not supposed to. Why must every update make things easier or more powerful? That is what most of them have done (except for the ones where Forum has realised he screwed up, made it too easy and then corrected it) - maybe he's putting right something that he believes is wrong? I don't know.

I must also point out that Forum has no obligation to discuss why he implements certain upgrades or changes to the game, in gfact I am sure it is in a disclaimer somewhere.

Like the ideas about ascension affecting main like that though - but it could be construed as making the accounts of ascendees even more powerul or teh potential to be more powerful - given they already get their 5% bonus to every stat.

NOT powerful, BIGGER, and not much, i mean for u get a 50% bonus, u will need to focus A LOT in that matter, IS not easy get a 50 SKILL. just the numbers:
to go for:
0 to 20 cost 152,3k LF
20 to 40 cost 1,9 Mill LF
40 to 60 cost 8 Mill LF
60 to 80 cost 21 Mill LF
80 to 100 cost 45 Mill LF
DO that ins't easier or cheaper.

and i dont see no1 reaching 50 mill army w/ ascending

I whole heartedly agree with the first two though either the cost should be a lot higher or the % rather small indeed 0.1% max if its at charisma level prices.

As for the additional trade brokers, all I can say is pointless man, to be honest I think that one may be a little bit unbiased as you want more broker slots yourself psi :P As unlike your other two ideas for ascension that part of its just not good.

As for the rest of the post its rather hard to concentrate with all the CAPS you put in it, plus a limit on AT is a good thing in some ways just rather annoying in others but thats being disussed in another thread.
Keep smiling it makes people wonder what your up to.

I see you have a problem with CAPS. Or at least the CAPS LOCK key. Here's a suggestion I also put forward in another thread. Make the cap a miner cap instead of a unit cap. So you can have as many units as you like, but only so many miners. The other units have to be trained to other jobs or remain UU and provide less naq than miners. Plus they'll be raidable if they remain untrained.

Another thing that might be done is to raise the cap whenever you ascend. But only if you take a LOT of units with you. This would essentially reset your account, forcing you to work your way up again. As opposed to ascending and starting right back at the top like so many have done over the past year. Maybe make it so that if you ascend with 50M units, the cap is raised to 75M.

the problem with a miner cap is that...

the people with 100mill army what will happen to their miners if they have say 65mill lifers?

also that will mean they have to train up 50 million UU as either... covert/attack/defence/anticovert...

which is just a great idea... because then they will be IMPOSSIBLE to beat...

50mill / 4 = 12.5million in each category

12.5 million super defenders (for a LG +1) all with weapons 2,250,000,000,000 that will roughly be their defensive power

the same for strike action...

now look at covert... say if they had level 24 covert... (likely to be much higher...)

200k level 24 covert is about 18billion... 1,125,000,000,000 covert action...

say roughly anti covert is 1.5x's covert at the same level 1,687,500,000,000

now... does that make it a good idea to make the cap at 50mill for miners only? because I can guarantee nobody will leave 30million UU out to gain a small income boost...

these are rough and probably inaccurate... but surely you must see that if it was a miner limit you would have people with tremendously unstoppable accounts?

And they're not unstoppable right now? I agree, it's not THE solution. But I'm beginning to wonder if there is one, short of resetting the game. And that would be the last thing I want.

I would hate that to be honest the effort I have put in the last 10 months to be gone... as would the people who are HUGE!

The only way of getting people to catch up would be if people with 90mill + armys had a HUGE war :)

which drops them down to like 80mill army sizes...

but even then they will still be able to recover incredibly quickly!
