It's taking over 30 seconds for the page to refresh, 1/2 the time my connection is timing out because of this.

The new server needs to drink Rebull I think j/k :D

I as well am having loading times that seem a bit long. I am running IE 7 on cable modem. I never get a timed out, but every page I go to takes up to 30 seconds sometimes to load. This is affected in all areas of the game except for forums. Game time is 17:29

sometimes, I have to wait for add banner (server). In this time I cannot see the game page! Happened few times.

when SGW goes down, what actually causes the problem?, like is there too many members online at once, and it goes slow?

I am always getting Timed out and continual loading. The page will be showing, but I manually stop it from loading after a minute or 2.
I have the latest FireFox and IE7. I know that it is not my network or my new computer.

The server shouldnt be slow, it's worth checking your internet connections.

As for what makes it go slow can be many reasons, work going on behind the scenes, lots of people online.. ect.

Over the last 2 days both forum and SGW (Main and ascended) appear to be running painfully slow. I thought it was just me but a few memebers of my alliance have commented about it as well.

Game time 12:40.49


Is there a problem??
No alliance - used to be TO - many moons ago!!!!!!

Maybe cleaning out the forum would help? Like one thread has over 45 pages. Who is going to go that far back to read something? Like I mentioned before - It is not my computer or browser nor is it my network. Sometimes too much information on a page will cause it to lag beyond its time limit.

if you load a page on the forum you only load that current page so the extra information contained in telling you wether the thread has 1 or 200 pages is a tiny fraction of the load time you need to display one of the loads of pics people got as avis or sigs
