Ah, so to get to 50M (which you need if you want to be anyone in this game) you'd need only 833 hours. Then what am I waiting for? I'll see you all in 35 days, don't try to contact me, I'll be raiding 24/7. Can't waste time on pointless stuff like food, taking a leak, sleeping (slewhat?), family(who?), school, work. Must. Raid.
Hysteria, I'm with you. SGW used to be the slow server. Where you could login a couple of times a day, spend your naq, maybe attack some, and get a good nights sleep after (or a wakeup call in the middle of the night if you had serious income and didn't mind a little sleep deprivation). Quantum was there for the faster paced gameplay.
However, Forum introducing a stable market will not change anything. It will only give power players more of these cheap turns allowing them to grow even faster. We don't need faster, we need slower. More care, more tactics, more strategy, more luck (it used to be a factor, now it's been replaced with tedium).
I've mentioned this a couple of times now. Players should be limited in their use of AT's. They should have a second stack of turns that cannot be obtained other then with time. These turns come faster than normal turns, and determine how many AT's you can spend. Possibly at a rate of 5 times your AT, so you can buy and spend up to 5x the AT you would normally get every turn. That means 1 full attack every 30 minutes, 48 attacks per day, 336 attacks per week. Maybe twice that, but no more. Faster players will have the opportunity to buy more turns. Slower players can sell their turns. Players can use their own market turns for PPT or lifers and still be able to buy other people's MT's for AT's. This will put some limits back on profits that can be made from the market (and that includes the black market, a part of the game that's very hard to control).
I know that this will limit the players that are currently trying to catch up to the top guys who have reached 75-100M units, by removing the option of unlimited unrestrained growth by raiding. Well, I'm sorry about that. But things like that have happened before. Fortune favors the bold, or something like that, is what Forum used to say. Those that jumped on the train in time have the advantage of being stupendously huge. I can see no fair way to take it from them that will be approved by the entire community. Does that mean we need to let the problem grow until there's 100's of players that will be affected? I hope not. Because at some point, Forum will find himself with no choice but to remove about 100 locks, get his retina, his fingerprints and a couple of other bodyparts you don't want to know about scanned, enter about a dozen passwords, open a few combination locks, throw a couple of pounds of steaks to the vicious watchdogs, and finally push the Big Red Button with the sign that says "Do not push this button - you promised".

As soon as you build an idiot proof system, somebody else builds a better idiot.
If it moves, kill it. If it doesn't move, kick it until it does move, and then kill it.

I see your point and understand where you are comming from, but think about it from this point of view.
If I have a 1 bill strike and go looking for naq and you have a 100 bill strike and go looking for naq, which of us do you think will make more naq in less time?
Obviously the one with the bigger strike because
( a ) With 1 strike (15 turns) I can hit a big player for a lot of naq
( b ) With a small strike I have to spend more atttack turns and more time to match a big player.
Contrary to that a small player with next to no strike can raid tons and match big players but only if the attack turns are available at a reasonable quantity for a reasonable price.
Also remember the UU cap that's set, therefore the more players that can grow and approach that ceiling then the more even overall the game becomes....
This also puts the emphesis on the Game from Main to Ascension
Ascension is where stage 2 of SGW will be fought, so that needs a cap also, in my opinion 30 million Resource planets

I think your post points out the problem that is probably going to develop on the ascended server.
This will have an effect on main in time
A cap on army sizes for a while on ascension would benefit everyone and make ascension more even.
But back on topic.
In order to compete in both Main and Ascension the cost needs to be reduced and quantity of attack turns per MT needs to be increased or better still become static on Main

The market gets even worse every time I look at it. The only place to buy attack turns will be the black market because again the cost of attack turns influences the cost of buying a /MT\
yea, att turns keep goin down in price =\

To Sleipnir - mate.... this is WAR game... ATTACK turns are meant to be USED. I kinda do not agree with your opinions about any kind of limiting of turn usage.
And please stop using that argument when you have a lot of time 'for raiding 24/7', you gain more. Of course... even in real life, when you spend practicing some sport, you 'gain' more. When you work more, you gain more. With time and practice people even learn to save the time while they are raiding. Same as in rl.

what is the black market price for turns? 9 mill?
what is the "robberly" price here? 6 mill?
seems that these prices will continue to drop till the value is close to that of the black market... then they will balance out...
