Ascension SS question

Do you have to wait till you have 2000 G&R, or can you get it at 1000?
Someone I know is about in G&R range and needs the FSS from the G&R. If you can get it at 1000, what is the process to do that?

It gives you SS once you ascend. Ascending only takes 1001 glory points, but you must ascend to get the SS.

I see that you can set up a broker to get someone to buy you SS. Could you get 1001 G&R and then set up a broker. And then get them to reject it after you ascend. Or would that not work? Does anyone know?

when you ascend you get a free FSS. also you can trade 1000 GnR points on the market for FSS (only once). you cannot set up a broker unless both people have FSS so alot of people get 2001 GnR points to buy FSS with, broker the uneeded stuff 4 ascention away to some1 then ascend with the remaining GnR (1001) using the bare minimum requirements.

There is the option to trade 1000 G&R points for SS, and it becomes available once you get the G&R required.
As mentioned, ascending also gives you FSS

Where is this option? I have 1068 glory points and already have SS but I do not see anyway to trade glory points for SS.
