You can easily dislodge someone from the top 100 if you outproduce them every turn. As long as they can't touch you, you'll overtake them in no time.

As many topics have regularly pointed out the game was never really about attack, it was about abusing SS and PPT.

Wear and tear through use.

11M of wear? It's the same damage as when I AM fired upon, so it's not just the wear and tear or it would be much less.
Say I have 2 tanks, 1 of them I'll just keep firing all day, the other will be firing and be fired upon. Which one will be more damaged at the end of the day? Apparently, there's no difference.

Is this the damage you take for a successful attack against you? I don't have that many weapons in Quantum and yet when the opponent only does 3 damage (the minimum) it can often cost 1Mil to repair my weapons anyway, how's this is much different since it's pretty clear that the damage is wear and tear.

Only those with 300M+ defense will use this tactic anymore now. And attacking those is even more costly. It would end up being 45 turns, 25M repair costs, 30M gains. It's not doable.

Remember that the troop losses is dependant on the relative strengths of your armies, so if you are considerably stronger then you will lose very few troops even if your army is bigger. And last I checked 15% meant less than a 1 in 6 chance of hitting the hologram, so probability is in favour (85:15 or simplified down 17:3, meaning better than 5:1 odds of getting through) of you attacking successfully with the one 15turn attack.

It's a new hologram in a different location.

If the first one was a hologram, I'd look around for the real thing and make a firm note of it's location. But that's just me being stupid I guess.

Maybe there are many holograms all appearing at once so you only know they're fake after attacking them. :P

5:1 odds of getting through, yet somehow I always manage to hit the hologram first. And getting the hologram twice would be 1:25. I must be terribly unlucky. Or those random number generators suck.

As soon as you build an idiot proof system, somebody else builds a better idiot.

If it moves, kill it. If it doesn't move, kick it until it does move, and then kill it.

That might be true, could be worth getting forum to double check how random the output is. Maybe you just really peeved the gods of karma?

Indeed. Hitting the hologram twice has been too frequent.

It's probably just my imagination but everytime I've had a second hologram hit, I had used the Again button. I've found that, when getting the hologram once, going back to the stats page and clicking Attack doesn't get my attack smack against a second hologram.

But again, it's probably just a bit of wishful thinking on my part :-D

Could be a flaw in the code there alright, does the again button require you to still alot a number of turns to the attack?

I think I have a solution to the Asgard holo problem....

Like NIP, where there is a check box to turn it on, the hologram should require a ticked box to activate it. Im not saying that this should cost, but it would mean that everyone can farm in peace. Nothing worse that some one ranked twenty million to beat your attack. :D

I'd didnt mean to *bump* this post but I couldnt find a better place to put it. Feel free to move this.

wats a check box gonna do, the asgard will keep hologram on at all times anyway no point in allowing x% atks to go thru if it can hit a hologram. try convincing one of em to shut it off-its imposible

What I meant was, that only active people could activate the holo. Its not going to drastically change the game but it will make raiding a lot easier for everyone. I cant see who wouldnt want to be able to raid better.

I think if the strength of the holo cant/wont be changed, the strength of everyone elses ability should be increased. I would like to see my replies regenerate more.
