I'm biased lol, i live and have lived in melbourne my entire life, so much easier than going to brisbane, and also much cheaper. And i could probably bring a bunch of my fellow alliance members also, (they would vote melbourne if they could be bothered getting on the forum)

No offence to those who jump at the chance of doing stuff on holidays, and long weekends, but in my line of work, they are the most busiest times and I cant afford to take time off when I could be earning the bucks I need to get me around Europe.

I was thinking late March.

As long as its a weekend, then no problems. I agree holidays and such are the best times for work, it might make it harder for others to get to.

A long weekend would be best but i have alot of hold accrued so it could be any weekend, I can easily make it into a 3 r r4 dayer

Ok, after much thought and consideration, I have decided it would be alot easier for everyone involved if we just go to the Crown Complex in Melbourne.

Reasons why:
-Close to everything
-It has Galactic Circus for those of us interested in playing games; Bowling, Arcade games, Laser Wars... etc etc
-Lots of places to eat, Lots of cafes for us mature folk who like to have a coffee and a cake (yeah, I just referred to myself as mature folk).
-Cost is optional for all; choose what you want to do, instead of it being a forced decision by one.
-Central to Melbourne so that in the event of it sucking a whole lot, we can move on to somewhere else easily.
-Easy to find
-Easy parking
-Lots of fun.

If there is a collective overwhelming disagreement on this location, I can change it, but I just think this will make our lives easier.

Ok, another thing. This thing looks to be happening in March, so...

Its gonna be either 10th, 17th or the 24th(in which case I will be expecting many many gifts for my birthday muahahahaaha)
