i remember the day of the saz, elusive, brothercrit, optical love, libra and loads others. oh and apophis. i remember when apophis sent the whole game recruitment messages every 5 mins. he had like 150 officers lol. my mouth dropped when i saw that he had an army of 5k lol.

there was a guy called thor something..... he had like 150k men, people were giving him uu. when i saw that i thought the game was over lol. i used to buy a 20$ ppt for 90mil!!! the game has advanced greatly. i feel like an old man

I remember the SLA in the heyday of its power...I remember before miners...and motherships...and the ingame market...I remember the coming of the Temple of Buck on the forums...and it's subsequent demise...

more people were active back then because whenever you go to farm someone if you dont spend the naq it will be gone at once thats why you have to open alot of windows for it, and at that time there were no tabs yet not like now and there was this time limit on the page like when you dont do something it will say your loitering

Actually it was 100 UP...I know who reached 1000 up first, it was me followed a few hours later by iron2047 and then Fox and Jake. The 4 of us were the UP kings until the bug allowed certain people to catch up. I remember the days when iron and me had level 22 covert and no one else even had level 21.

As for the first true number 1 in this game, it has to go to Fox, who got it on skill. The guys before him were either lucky, in Silent Todd's case hitting an admin account for 2.8 million naq when people were farming for 50k and of course ELUSIVE bought his rank.

You just have to say it was someone in Omega for number 1. LMAO, Omega aint everything ETL..you think it is, but it aint, there are some better people not in Omega that are better then some Omegans...

Having been around when Fox was #1, and having seen all the rank1's yea, I'd have to say that Fox was the first to get there by skill and fair play. But, I think that the first true "super account" has to go to _Apophis__.

I dont think you can really call someone with 50 multies fueling his account a "true first super account" lol.

I don't think he was ever proven to be a multi. Suspected, but not proven. Much like JUAN.

I started in April 05, so I'm pretty old. I would deem anyone who remembers a time when Omega wasn't the number one alliance in-game to be at least fairly ancient.

On another note, I remember the build-up that next fall with the invention of motherships and ascension. And I miss being able to kill uu, those were good times.
