Alliance Messages

Whenever I send a message to my whole alliance, it sends the message under the name of another alliance member instead. This has caused much confusion.
If you can't be kind, at least have the decency to be vague.

That happens to my 2nd, as well. Please fix ASAP, as he does most of the coordination in-game.

Yeah.

I guess its not bugish, its designed that way...
The second in command can act in the name of the leader in case they isnt around...

moving it to the discussion on enchancements section.

But before, when I was in US on Main and Inferno in Chaos, that never happened. The 2ic's messages were still under their name. Unless this was a new update, in which case it only causes confusion, makes framing other players easier, and fraud could come from this. It must be a bug.

Indeed, its very annoying saying that its coming from the Alliance Commander, when for the AA and I'm sure for many other alliances, we play different roles. As in he takes care of some alliance issues and me the other, when both need to sent out Alliance Messages and its confusing saying its coming from the wrong person the half the time.

I don't really see any reason why it should be how it is now. I, for one, wouldn't want the the 2nd in Command to be able to send messages out under my name if I was the Alliance Commander. Its just asking for trouble really.
