I'm with Mango there. If it's anywhere in Brisbane I know all the lass', put a few through college.
How ever as for this being based on the date by which everyone goes back to
Uni I think it should be in the week prior if at all because if it's set up for just after most of us in other cities won't be able to get away from Uni.
You could always hold it off for the mid year break or perhaps even a mid semester but I'm unsure of how closely the separate University Midies coincide.
As for getting fully and utterly comatose and doing some embarrassing crap just before hitting thre floor, I don't think I'd do it in front of you lot, too much leverage over me from then on.
But if it came down to test of honour it's WL shots. In the immortal words of Highlander "There can only be one!"

On a final note, I've mentioned it to Sue but I don't think it was passed on but depending on the numbers there's always a private little island I know near TI. White beaches and it has been raining up here so the waterfalls are running. Wild deer and everything lush and green. Why even Buck and Diamond Dust have promised to come over, in cowboy outfits!

There is two events being held. One in March and one in July.

On a final note, I've mentioned it to Sue but I don't think it was passed on but depending on the numbers there's always a private little island I know near TI. White beaches and it has been raining up here so the waterfalls are running. Wild deer and everything lush and green. Why even Buck and Diamond Dust have promised to come over, in cowboy outfits!

I will be there with bells on, as long as we can pick on a fat kid with glasses and run tribes and reenact Lord of the Flies

If the 10th or the 31st fall on bad days I appologise but that seems to be the only days that Crown Towers aren't booked out and I'd like to stay there if possible as I don't have to walk very far.
As for flights down i'm not sure when you want to fly out of Brissy Mango. I'm thinking of Saturday morning as Crown picks up from the airport, or so they say That way we could get in, and meet up with everyone for lunch and plan the faternoon/night/morning.

Also the room is fairly large so it could well be a meeting place for the group if need be just as long as they don't find one of you sleeping in my bathroom and charge me double.

hey nuto, i hope u know crown is like still under redevelopment, i havent been there for a while but last time i was there [ a few weeks ago, galactic circus/laser wars had been closed, along with barcode.
just giving ya a heads up.

just confirm a date and i should be able to make it, depending on my uni workload. but it should be all good.

I think they were doing that before the commonwealth games... not sure.

As far as Brisbane dates, can someone let me know if on or around 4 July clashes with anything signficant.

We would really like to have several events planned to coordinate for all age groups, none the least being;
The 3rd State of Origin (you havent seen football if you havent seen this),
A day trip to the Gold Coast Worlds, and
Last but not least, Deity's Island Get away - Aussie, Aussie, Aussie!

4th of july seems good to me not that im important or nothing but ill be attending the conference

4th of july does actually clash with something all SGW player who are either go to school, college, or university or even teachers This is because 4th of july is a wednesday and it would probably down the attendance numbers as there a lot of people who are studying and also play SGW.

maybe weekend dates such as

7th,8th july, or any weekend dates around that area

Brisbane on I'd need to know in advance like everyone else out of state to be able to organise time off and transport and stuffs like that.
