Planets & Ascension

When planets were released Forum stated that the planets were not meant to stay a permanent part of the account.

So, why do they stick with you after ascension?

It is my belief that a planet should be given a Ascension Point value and then these planets go back out into the cosmos to recirculate.

What do you think?

we think it would be too expensive... but one option could be that planet defenses are kept, but stats are randomized... so that one gets a random new stat with random level, and the rest is changed into AP's...

This would also make it easier for people to get more AP for their ascension and help to make ascension more interesting.

perhaps another twist? bonus and defense is cut in half, and the half removed of each becomes AP's... or perhaps size is lowered by one as well?


another thing could be that planet is cut in two... value of one of those halves becomes AP's, and that half is also released... this way, player gets to keep planet, he/she gets more AP's, and another planet becomes available in the cosmos... all should be happy then...

we see that side... but there are also those that ascend only to get more bonus on main, and dont play ascended... having all planets sent out into the cosmos upon ascending would make ascension much too expensive for such player types...

Intresting Idea, i see a way around it, take 5 days or less and get a few buddies to steal your planets when you ascend so you keep them granted you lose the Defence on them but you still garentee you keep the planets...

Thats just something i thought i should point out...

there is always some way around it... but how would that work out for those building something like 15k defenses? how many have several buddies capable of getting through that defense?

Way I see it the planets are just circulating your realm and it isnt something you can take with you to ascend.

But if you think of it in terms of ascension you become a God in a manner of speaking and therefore could take a planet to wherever you wish.

I am saying that the planets should be placed back into circulation after ascending and that the player should get something for the planet upon doing it.

Sorry but I know of people who have spent trillions gazillions (LMAO) on their planets and if they'd ascend and loose it - it would suck. Even for APP.

Perhaps a option to loose them and get APP or keep them and therfor get less APP.

I'd personally not mind that option.

i agree the game is fine the way it is, the only beef i have is that planet thieves can disband a planet as soon as they get it. if that is fixed to let you actually have the full 12hrs to reclaim it then there doesnt need to be any real tweaking of the game at all

Uh... it is kinda iffy, but I think maybe gettin AP for em wouldnt' be bad.

I totally agree. I think that planets should be lost when you ascend. If you leave this realm, you should leave everything. You are leaving this realm of existance, giving up your spirit and possessions. Props to this idea.
