Childish behaviour of some players

Now I dont know, is this just plain misunderstanding or not. I dont understand, how people cannot see a line between real life and a game.

This is the second time I was threatened with real-life beating from some player. "timistar", this is the second time you threatened me. I'm putting this up to see what other people think about it. I accepted your apology the first time, but everything has its limits. On the start I even respected you, but now all that is gone.

So if Omegan member steals your planets is it my fault? It wasnt me. If someone masses you, is it my fault? Deal with them, I have nothing to do with them. I dont know whats wrong with you.

And now Omega are bullies. I mean, I've never threatened anyone over a game.

If i met some of the players i hate I'd probabl- wait. I do not care so much about this game that I actually HATE someone over it.

Hate is a strong word, you'd should have a really good reason before you say something like that.

Some might be your rivals, your enemies or the reason you lost everything ingame... still, its ingame...

Personal threats have no place in the game and should be punished somehow. I sit massing someone and talking to them on msn. Often later help them out. It is all a game and you can't take any of this with you so what is the big deal about a few resources. Nothing is worth it to get nasty over it. Player are characters. We have some great villians in the game. They make it interesting. Enjoy their antics but don't take it personal.

If you aren't having fun playing and it upsets you so much you have to attack someone personally you need to quit playing.

How do you know anything about the person themselves. All you see is an account and maybe talk to someone on msn. Again you don't know anything personal about them. The game is not about personal issues, it is about game actions.

Have you never sat next to your best friend and beat the tar out of them on PS2? This is no different. There are just a lot more players involved. The idea is the same. You war against someone to try to outdo them with skill. You aren't attacking the person.

You can get mad at someone for massing you, get even later in the game or learn from what they did and improve you game. You are simply fighting a character in a game not an individual. There is no reason to hate anyone for their game play.
