Upgrades Bought by Others
under the "Change E-Mail / Password / Vacation Mode" button there is a box to check if you want to Accept Upgrades Bought by Others how does this work and what would it be used for techs or more weponds. what is it there for?

we are not sure how... but that box was added when people got tired of others donating $$ to use up peoples MTs in war...

Zeratul is right about why it was added. It eliminated a technique for keeping people from being on PPT for so long.
As for how to donate for someone else - that's easy. On the Support link from your Command Center screen - in the same place that you donate money yourself - you can change the ID number in order to donate for someone else instead.

think so, but not sure, as there is some strange new feature on bottom of market page... it says:
(Test Feature, but working) - Give Market Supporter Bonus to Another (ID) for 74,000,000,000 Naquadah
so probably it is possible to give ppts to others w/o $$ now... but its very expensive...
