been playing for 2 days so far and seem to have myself a commander. I suspect 500 naq a turn from a commander isn't very good is it ?

its a start, granted some give away like 50'000-500'000 a turn *not naming names * You just need to find the right Commander. Naq isnt everything.

its not long gone up to over 90k a turn, after i mentioned it. Does it take a while to kick in ?

Can any forum admins resend my email from my sign up or unblock the current one, so i can sign up under it once more. Its the one beginning with a G ending with a T from yesterday.

If you are searching for a commander to boost your income, look for someone who has a large army, and very if [if any] officers.
The amount given out depends on the number of untrained soldiers they have, and, it is then split between officers, so, the less officers, the bigger the portions of Naq.

Just one thing, as a commander myself, there is almost nothing more annoying than an officer who leaches.
If you are willing to take your commanders Naq, be willing to spend money on Unit Production to boost your commnders overall UP [and subsequently the amount of Naq you recieve from them].
