I must of got it wrong then but everything else I put is true and does not change the fact that anyone can catch up without raiding.
Upgrade your UP, Stop raiding our UU LOL
that statement shows how out of touch you are............our alliance instructs our members how well raiding will help you
but if you think that is the case nobody has taught you how to raid properly
cuz raiding will help you get alot more UU then up will especially for players going thru ascesions
when raid came out for the 2nd time i began to raid and gave up on farming because it seem to me i didnt get enough of it ever since i gotten my first target i was blown out of the water how much UU i got from a target, then i start to think and fine tune my raiding skills like declare war, raiding faster...then i raided for ppl cause i couldn't get enough of it...
My entire army size is all from Raiding and UP i never bought UU before seeing it as always expensive trust me it helps alot

And don't say admin would catch the multies, because even the obvious ones like iceman and fireman took forever to get banned, along with about 100 other multies that can be seen in the cheaters section found weekly -_-
Well... they would need to either buy their multi's ss or ascend them, I doubt that would be worth it, would be better to buy res with money. Guys... if this is done it wont kill raiding, it may slow it for a week or so, mabye two weeks, but it will eventually increase the profits on raiding and decrease the time you need to spend raiding to get the same amount of uu. I suppose there are ways of getting around this, but no matter what you do, multi's will always exist and theres little you can do to stop it, if it takes a month for them to get caught then it doesnt really matter... they're caught and their accounts destroyed.

i vote for getting rid off all p2p trades, of course some more economically changees needed to be implemented, like increase of market turns, maybe a galactic bank (for loans) or whatever.
this will stop most stuff and you can still give your friends resources, you just need to sell your def first...
but thats a bit off topic, ya know that im an enemy of the current market situation so i would support at least teh decrease of AT in the game.

If at's were to go up in value as much as they are being said they would, all someone would have to do is save their at's for 2 weeks to trade someone for full SS, no money involved on their part. And it does matter how long it would take. If something like this was to be implemented(which I doubt it will) then admin would have to get alot more serious about catching multies.

That's why I say limit the turns at the spending end, not the buying end. It will keep people from amassing turns through ANY means, be it through buying people's MT's or through multies. Pointless to buy or cheat your way to turns you can't use.

Err.... I don't think it is without major help, or taking around 2 years at the least... trading perhaps, but thats spending time on the game as well
More at does not mean more resources, it just means more farming. Its the not the at that help you, its the resources you gain from the at, if you use 150 at because that is what is being provided by the server on average, or if you use 50 because that is what is being provided, the amount of resources you get will still be the same... raiding, attacking, it doesnt matter it will be the same.
Cheaters will be caught... lol I trust forum well enough with that. Whether they get caught within a week or a month, the effect is the same... their accounts deleted.

There is a difference in the vote between the people who believe you should have to actually do a little work to be ahead in the game, and those who think all you should have to do is be one of the first players and have a good UP and spend your turns weekly. Just a difference in opinion Hulkster, thats all. Also, I noticed you have trouble not insulting people in every post you make, but you should atleast make an attempt not to.

the only people that should have felt insulted by my post are the ones that don't consider themselves intelligent.
sorry if i hurt your feelings
edit:
and the difference in the vote actually reflects the large majority of uneducated players that can't understand some simple concepts such as economics and game mechanics.
It actually takes a bit more "hard work" to climb to the top when you aren't spoon fed every resource neccessarry to get there.

You really should think beyond what is best for your own account, but rather the community. Clearly you are incapable of that. If you were the educated one, my friend, you would have realized that this idea can only benifit me, as I am beyond the point where raiding has become a necessity.

I like a thread full of heated debate as much as anyone - but some of the comments that have appeared recently are a bit too far towards insulting. If you feel you cannot post without adding insults, then please do not post at all.

That's why I think miners should die while defending. If that's the case, growth at the top will be limited, because the largest armies will lose the most units on defense. At some point it should take an enormous UP to keep replacing the miners you lose on defense. That's when you've reached a growth limit. Since there's more and more naq out there, new players will have an easier time getting their own UP up. Then they will need to raid to reach their troop "limit" or wait for their UP to fill up their army. Or they could just spend their turns to get naq, and buy more UP so their "troop limit" goes up, the classic long term investment that has been made nearly obsolete by raiding. People will have options again, as opposed to being stuck with the "raid, buy turns, repeat"-strategy.
No matter how long you've been playing this game, staying at the top should be a battle. You shouldn't be able to rely on exponential growth to ensure that you will always be ahead of others. Then again, providing infinite turns so people can raid their way past the exponential curve seems like hitting your hand with a hammer to stop feeling your headache. Sure, it works for a while, but fixing the headache might have been a better choice cause now your head hurts and your hand is broken.
