Assassin function miscalculations

i tried to assassin hit someone who had a lvl half of mine. i sent more assassins then he had total and i lost twice. one would think 2X their level and sending more than enuf assassins would succeed. but somehow it failed...any suggestions for me or is this a bug?

only on dev server i think.
maybe he set himself to critical ? that would explain at least 80% additional assassin power. maybe you can give us some numbers? like yours and targets assassin power and your amount of assassin worlds when you tried to destroy him?! this way we might figure it out without guessing.

rank mod has been on normal server since it launced, it was originally reduced but never removed, i think attacking up it can go as high as 120% on default, the dev server updates may change that though.
