Is it me, or do market made planets have some time in which they can't be attacked?

Yes afaik, just like no one can steal your planets till 24 horus after it enters your realm.

I don't knwo if it has bene sugested or mentioned yet, but I am wondering.

If you have a planet with a beacon on it, and it gets stolen and then abandoned, and if you activate the beacon and it states that it isn't in anyone one persons realm, and you send you mothership out to find it, does it give a better chance of retrieving it considering the physical advantage of the beacon (ie. tells you exactely where it is).

yes thats true, if you activate beacon and send out ms to find an abandoned planet it should be 100% success rate to get it back, and it shouldnt take the full 24 hours, mabye only 2-4 seeing as you know exactly where it is and ya hyperspace engines and stuff.... your not just wandering aimlessly around the galaxy :P

that makes you think whether the "make planets" update was a good one.
I think you should have played for a month and pay a bit more than just 3 mt's for a planet. Maybe even requiring FSS to make one.

i love the updates, i mean the randomness of new planet is cool and sum will be happy sum wont..

the beacons are ace gotta love that idea...

i love the idea of protection thats pretty cool, and that u can take back many planets love that idea..

sum really cool changes im happy..

Looks like you will be right. Multi accounts dont need to take other peoples planets anymore, they can produce and grow their own.

Looks like you have found another flaw in the game!!!!

And yes, you need to be able to change a planets name straight away, because a lot of players will look for "made on the market" planets.

if a multi creates planets with the purpose of benefit from that...it would be ver easy to track that down for the admin, and it will result on a certain ostracism....but if a multi uses its turns to create planets that wont benfit him/her for...then it will have little effect for the game...as that would only generate more tiny planets that will be jumping around...most of them crap.
Things had changed around here...don't you think?

many people would gladly exchange their huge planets for a shiny new tiny planet.

the naq it'd cost to upgrade it back would be far less than to give it a decent defence again at lower rates

even if i'd exchange my planets it would still cost me alot. I know better things to start with my income

I cant see someone making multi's to make planets, seeing as you need SS to get the MT's is someone really going to pay out for SS just to make 1 planet a week, that will most likely be taken from them, if they cannot defend it.

I used 20 Beacons per planet.... cant be to carefull :-)


The Planet page is ... ummm how do i say this... UGLY?

AWFULL!

needs a better formatting maybe a table?

Buttons are everywhere..... at least but a check box for abandoning planets... takes me forever to figure out what im doing to the planets....
