It is very apparent that the majority of those who approve of the updates are the same people who have huge armies, who aren't even impacted by the updates except that it weakens their enemies. There is an obvious bias in these updates, which I strongly expect is the lobbying of certain powerful members influencing the admin more than the desire for a balanced and fair game.

I am a fair way under 10mill army, i used to do big naq trades well in excess of 5 times my bank size, yet the only thing i want chaged is to have a bank bonus from PPT back.

the updates dont make it harder for smaller players, it just means you have to time your PPT better, or get a big guy to hold it. and if you didnt normally have PPT's if the bank boost is brought back (please? ) perhaps it will now benefit you more than being able to over bank would have, becuase it means soon, you wont need to over bank.

also if your to small to afford a PPT, you shouldnt be selling UU for naq anyway, because you quite obviously cant afford to lose any.

not complaining. Just reporting a glitch, when you broker someone, and they accept, the naq shoudl go to ur vault right? Because mine went out in the open, and I had more than enough space to hold the naq.

Well, you guys that were using the over banking bug were CHEATING!!!!!!

So its your own fault for becoming reliant on that plan. And as for penalising smaller players, you dont think i had the exact same problems months ago? I had to buy weps and lose 80% to save up for spy levels, etc.

Get a mate to save up your naq etc.

But in essence, you were all cheating. You werent giving yourselves an advantage, you were taking the adantage away from those who worked to get it. And that in my eyes, is wrong.

Not all of this thread is about overbanking I agree that was wrong. I would not say cheating as it was within the rules of the time. With each new update people find ways to get round problems adapt or die. There are still ways of effectively overbanking but you just have to be a bit more clever about it.

I would never accuse others of cheating if the game rules allow it to be done. Hacking, Scamming etc now those are cheating. I like the new updates apart from my grievance about the market bug Well done admin

Has anyone else noticed that the Bank Leaking hasn't taken effect and it's tuesday game time?

I have a problem with the bank update I can understand why admin has decided to do it but now it will make it very difficult for people to be able to get spy levels. You will not be able to save up naq enough to be able to get better spy levels and things that cost a lot when they jump up in size a lot. The issue is that there are people with spy levels now that would be very difficult for newer players to catch up.

I read before about adding the bank as a kind of technology where you can pay to increase the size of you bank with a system like that. I think its a great idea and would help a lot of members to be able to catch up with the larger members with large bank sizes.

Well I could more easily claim you are a moron, as I have better grammer and spelling, along with a larger vocabulary. I also manage a whole paragraph. There are many, MANY, people on this forum, who do not have english as first language, and they try thier best to make posts the rest of us can understand, because franktly, we never took the time to learn thier language. how about the whole board posts in Russian, or Portuguese, or Italian. reckon you could get your ability to comunicate in those langauges as good as you claim your english to be?

until the day you have FLAWLESS, english, and can fluently speak other languages, dont go picking at peoples english. And how do you know you have abetter vocabulary than him? have you personally compared yours to his? or did you work it out from the 1 post he made, in which he didnt need an entire paragraph, to get his point across. perhaps the fact he can do it in less than a paragraph means he is better with words than you?

I personally do not care about whether this update should get reversed or not.
On one hand I think it should stay since it benefits the smaller players more than the bigger ones, than if you would not be able to overbank. (Like few other updates do)

On the other hand I should remind you that there was a time before the broker where you could not overbank and people still managed to get their income and banks bigger. (people are just soooo lazy, 10-15 minutes a day is all you need to have a 1 mil army account in 3 weeks if you start from scratch).
Second: even though i had my arguments with Hells_Angel, i second his thoughts. Overbanking was never meant to exist with the introduction of the broker, it was only to make secure and easy trades.

Even though i don't really care personally, I still think it should be returned since that is one of the few things that could help balance the game between the weak and the strong (although naturally the strong are, as the word implies, stronger)

Also, has no-one seen the problem of how less honourable people will likely make a deal with someone over the broker and immediately steal the naquadah that doesn't fit in the other person's bank?

@ Urogard: Thats why i, and 74 others so far, want the mPPT's to give the 10% bank increase again. because with that, and enough skill, overbanking is not needed, however without it, things will become increadibly hard and frustrating etc etc read my other posts.

@ pungemo: i understood full well. And thats why you dont make a deal that wont fit in your bank unless your on PPT, 2 cups common sence, with just a pinch of strategy
