sending out gate teams

i dunno if anyone has posted this ive had a look but couldnt find anything so far

its the same as how we have the mothership sent out to search for planets i thought we should be able to send out teams through the stargate to search random worlds for supplies like UU, naquadah or weapons you could add an extra area in training called Gate Teams and it should cost naq to send the team out but the more u send the higher the cost but more chance of gettin better raids from through the stargate.

its just a thought like i said i dunno if anyone else has suggested it ive been searching and havent found anything yet

not a bad idea just very hard tomanage and make fair, as top playrs can train for exmaple a uber team send out 1nce a day clear all the uu.

so there would have to be some randomness in it, dont know

this could be interesting... but it definetly needs some balance to make it so that the biggest players cant take everything...

well ofcourse there be a limit like 3 or 4 teams at most and the same randomness u get with mothership basically same principal as mothership cept ur sending teams for resources through the gate

oh and the resources u find can be random like maybe u find only 100 UU or 10k UU maybe limiting to be able to only search 3 times a week or something i dunno since im not a high ranked player i cant really say much on balancing it

Its a good theory, would need some tweeks though.

If you can send teams out to other worlds to look for resources you also have to run the risk that some or all may never return, this could be the risk of the stargate to alien worlds, and make it like a minimum of 100/200k UU's needed per team, that would make you really think.

i like the 100/200k risk but we should lower it a bit for the lower ranked ppl i say 30/60k to make it fair

Nice idea. A bit like making planets on the market but for resources instead.

although if the risk is that high then there must be something worth it to find to risk that many units wats do u guys suggest the amount of UU , naq or weaps u find as good amount?
