yep. When you ascend, you need a certain amount of naq, UU, etc. The minimums are shown on the first screen, so you can make sure you have them before you try to ascend.

You will need at least 1000 glory and reputation ( you have 1016 ) and 1800 Ascension Power Points ( you have 88624...yup 88624 ) to move beyond this point....

on the first page after you click the ascension link you will have a table with all the minimums you must meet or exceed all of them before you can ascend.

note: you can also take things away and use in a diffrent section if they are over eg need 100k trained if you had 150k you could untrain 50k and use them as UU
