planet bug

Someone stole planet from me so i go to take it back, but i find out that he doesn't have it anymore.
I thought that he abandon the planet so i used the beacon to see where it is and find that another pearson have my planet.
This was happend even before 12 hours after my planet was stolen.
How it is this posible?
