i know alot of PPT idea's have been made and set and i'm not 100% if this idea has been made yet or something close along the lines of it.
When it comes to war we are all given certain tasks and duty's to fulfill by our allainces and CO and some of which find it difficult to do and implement, which is why i have come up with the idea of an officer PPT. i'll explain in the best detail i can.
Say your CO gets involved in a big war with a big player or his allaince gets messed up by another allaince and PPT seems to be the only way he can go, but the only thing is he wants to protect his officers aswell, well then all he has to do is use an MT and buy "OfficerPPT", this will protect not only himself but alos his officers for pretty much the same duration a normal PPT would give.
The exception for this though would be that it would cost per officer, example: say 1 person has 5 officers and PPT on it's own would cost 3bill (just remember this is an example so prices will surely be different) so he would have to pay 3billnaq for not only himself but also his officers so in total it would cost 18billnaq.
The officers of coarse would get the option to use the PPT when ever they want, much like the christmas PPT the server got in 2006.

If this is used, officers should use a PPT as well.

One of the worst ideas I've ever seen.
This is a war game people - not a game of hide and seek!
If you are part of an alliance or an officer of a player, then you should understand that if that alliance or player goes to war then you will more than likely become involved - it is therefore your and your alliances/comamnders responsibility to ensure that should war occur that you are prepared. That is why alliances/commanders should be chosen wisely and not willy-nilly just because they have a big income or are part of a big alliance.
It's called making a decision - you can choose to become someone's officer or member of an alliance or not - and take the consequences of a decision, or not - but you can't expect to have a relatively easy option to hide in times of war.
It's already relatively easy anyway - don't strip this game of any decision processes whatsoever!

Free PPT's for officers? NO way. Free PPT's would cause whole alliance joining one or two commanders, who'd PPT whole alliance for NO cost. Hell no.
Alternative would be the possibility to allow buy PPT for officers, but for REASONABLE price... no freebies. Probably at the cost of 1 MT and PPT slot of the person, who buys PPT for officer and one PPT slot of officer, so it would not get abused in way that alliances would have two people as guards and then put everyone from alliance on PPT in danger.

ppt slot on both commander and officer would be unreasonable, unless both gets ppt...
maybe have it cost 50% more, and make commander/leader able to put all on ppt at once? that could help an alliance if there is an alliance or something else that gets an urge to mass them... and the extra cost would make sure that it wouldnt be that good to abuse...

If you allow "mass PPT" even once, it will get abused in way as I said before.
The cost should be more than PPT for yourself, that's why I said both officer and commander's PPT slots would be taken. That way we would avoid over-using and the commander would think twice before using such feature. But it would be here, for occassional use, when the commander sees their officer massed and they care enough to chip on and protect their officer, for example.

the risk of abuse is strong... that is why it definetly needs limiting...
maybe have such ppt's cost only 1 ppt counter for both, and not a mt? or 1 mt for co, and ppt counter for officer? (+ a reasonably high naq price...) would that work out? or does it still need balancing?
it would also need to be limited by the accept donations thing, of course... and ppt also needs to be breakable...

I am definitelly up for idea that a CO could put their officers on PPT, the price is something, what would need to be discussed.. but 1MT of CO and PPT slot of officer sounds reasonably too. Plus higher NAQ cost as well.
