Mercs - unlcear issue

Hello,

From all the changes and all the posts i read regarding mercs i get that:
- They just add to armysize
- They just cont as ascension points

Is this correct or should i arm my mercs for defense and offense?
Because they do get killed and im not sure if they are dragged to batle unarmed.

well, for UM is: they don´t add to total fighting force, only ascension points ...



and for the otehrs: well, they can be good and cheap fighters, dying to early, but cheap

the defence and attack mercs? well, i would .. they are like normal soldiers, not supers but normal ... they atleast make a bit damage ...and they are easier replaceable ...

just make some supers, and buy as much mercs as you can, and buy weps for them all .... they´ll add a bit to your strike/defence action ...
