As I said before...this is, in essence weakening oneself...with less spies you leave the door open to being sabbed and losing that beautiful 1 tril strike action...

Also, remember, the button you press simply sends a message to everyone in the game that a strike is being prepared...the attack does not occur until 10 hours have passed...as a result whoever is the target has plenty of time to find out who you are and take advantage of your weakend state...

Everything needs a balance.

Why can you hit me but I can't hit you? This is totally unfair to the higher ranks. I like the idea but it work. There should be limitations on the number of attackers. The combined power of the attackers should not exceed a % of the attacker. 100 accounts should not be able to gang up on 1 account.

Also if you can join in on attack then there should be a way for multiple defenders. This should be an even suggestion.

I like the suggestion for the most part but it needs to be evened out.

A good idea, and honestly I can't see multi's exploiting this one. First off if they are a multi they are terribly week, and with 4 k turns for the first, and 1 k for each additional accouint, it would cost the owner a fortune to abuse it. Here's my input

1. You must be at war with the person you wish to use the strike on, and the invite is only sent to all the other people who are at war with that person.

2. If the victom's covert is lets say, twice as big as the biggest coovert of any the attackers, then he is aware that there is an attack in progress against him, though he doesn't know when it will happen.

3. Take away the rank limit, if the victom is aware, then he would need only to drop his rank by losing covert/defence and the attack woudnt' be able to be made

4. Make it kill mineslaves, then attackers, then assassins if the attack is strong enough, we would have to come up with some numbers though. Reason being the attack is so massive, when it smashes the defences it still has enough force to break through and kill otherstuff, and maybe even instead of kiling innocent mineslaves, take them like you would UU in a raid and divide them up among the attackers based on the size of the strikes involved.

5. PPT will not stop the attack. Because the attack is so massive, the nox(or whoever protects during the protected planets treaty) realize that this guy has been very much for war which is why so many are trying to attack him, and will not protect the player in such a battle since they are against war, and he is so seemingly for it.

6. It would have to be limited to maybe 1 massive attack (as i like to call it) against any certain player per week or something like that, since nothing is safe from these massive attacks. If that didnt' make sence, youc an only be hit by this thing once a week.

I like the idea and it would add a whole new level of stragedy to the game. It would allow the smaller players to attack the bigger ones and take away some of their armysize and maybe bring some balance back to the game.

everyone's focusing on that part of the attack...it's not the only thing that happens...

You also are destroying their mothership, offense, defense, spies, and anti-covert...

The rank thing is so that the rank 1 player can't use this to attack and completely destroy the lower ranked players...though...I do see your point and concede to it...

Whilst I understand the reasoning behind this...I disagree...mainly because that would be majorly abused to the point that it would imbalance the game...

i.e. I have a weak person attack me with 1 weapon using this attack, no one will join him/her because it's a suicide run...I take no damage, but now I can't be hit by a Unified strike for a week...

I concede that everyone should be able to do it...so...you've got me there...

However for the limit's on how many accounts can join in the attack...look at it this way...if a top player has a 1 tril offense and can farm as many ppl as he/she likes with it...why can't a large group of ppl join together to create a 1 tril combined offense and attack the top player?


as for multiple defenders...I'm sort of spilt on that...on the one hand it would be "fair"...but on the other hand this means that the top ranked players would still be untouchable as their alliance mates could defend them...which defeats the point of the whole update...so...for the moment...I'm against multiple defenders...

how about this idea, mothership vs. mothership, and if the attacker is stronger, they have time left over to hit enemy mines on their planet to kill miners/lifers :-) :-) :-)

What I was getting at was more along the line of Lets say you and me.

Ok I'm 50 mill army size with a 100 bill strike and a 100 bill def( not really but lets say)

Ok you start this strike against me. you have a 10 bill strike and a 10 bill def. Now if 9 more guys of the same size join you we would be even(roughly).

Now if 100 guys with 10 bill strikes/def join in then my 1 account is 1/10th the attackers power and doesn't stand a chance in hades. If your ideas go through then my account would be forever crippled with my def gone strike sabbed away and miners killed too.

There has to be a limit to the size of the attack. otherwise it will become a roaming mob of massive strike lil accounts destroying the first 5 pages.

See the problem here?

I still like the idea of allowing multiple opponents to band together to fight a much stronger opponent. As long as it fair to both sides and balanced.

I have to also add the 15k turns would be an absolute massing to the defender and as you say'ed it happens when the ten hours is up the players not online but involved in the war at that time will have their Attack Weps destroyed as they cant repair. So it cannot work. Second if a message is sent to every player below that rank lets say rank 1000 send it out then 60k ppl or so will have a message asking them to join the war? too much messages man. Secondly if the message is sent to 60k ppl, surly one person will notify the defender of who the attacker is. One way around it is not to say to everyone who the attacker is, but then who would join a war with some1 they dont know. And lets be honest if it didnt say who was the attacker then im sure 80%, sorry to say but its true, will target CoP alliances every day just for the fun of it and not be caught. And to finish off :) I keep my rank low atm and if i get sent hundreds of stupid war messages each day I will not be happy. :D:D

to drop rank all you need to do is drop your lowest point and then rebuy it after the turn changes e.g i sell my attack wait for the turn then drop to raiding ranks buy back my measly 500mil attack and am still ranked 3k for the next 30 mins can be abused besides .... massing is already a costly thing turn wise and creates more fun than waiting for others to join, besides lifers and AC not many people want them dying anyways.

I can indeed see the problem...and I agree now...I still don't like the idea of multiple defenders though...but I can see the need for a limit on how many can participate...



@ !Encore...yes it would be an absolute massing...that's why it costs so many turns and that is why it was suggested...and having your attack destroyed is just the price you pay for teaming up on another player...

So basically the point would be to just knock the person down in rank?

In the end, would it really be worth it all?

Think about it...
If the guy you're attacking is really that strong enough that you need that many people to co-op in the attack, then chances are that the blow to your own armies will be massive too.

How would the naq be divided? Evenly? What if I join in the attack and have 4X's the troops invested in the battle as you do? Do we divide the spoils of victory evenly or by a ratio?

After the spoils of victory are divided, will it be enough to repair my army and weapons?

Not worth it in the end IMO...

Unified atack is indeed a great idea but needs to get worked on.
My 2 cents:
- Although it might look like uneven, its not. When some1 initiates a unified attack, that doesnt mean that he will actualy find enough supporters. So if a low rank player attacks some1 that has a good rank, he might simply get smashed on his def due to lack of supporters. It simply is a risky bussines. And multies are not here to destroy some1, I guess their main aim is to support active accounts with UU, AT, naq and stuff like that. So I dont think that a bunch of low rank multies will even hurt some1 that has a good def.
- And if some1 ever gets crushed thanks to unified attack, he usualy has the power to rebuild fast, is usualy in good alliance and that alliance is able to destroy every attacker. So the only that loses is one top player and all of the attackers :P

i like this idea i was thinking that insted of every player geting the message then you would have a set of ids you would enter after initiating the attack and they coudl accept or decline the invitation to join.

What if you have spent mounths and mounths building up your army, playing fair. After all your hard work you have reached rank 100. Then one day you get attacked by people rank 101,102,103,104,105,... 10001,1002 etc and your entire acount is completely destroyed putting you back down to square one?

So let's say I'm rank 1. I've got rank1 everything and like 100billion army. No one is even close to me. I decide that the rank 666 player has to die. Just because I don't like his rank. So, just as the turn is about to change, I untrain all of my spies. The turn then changes. Following the turn change, I retrain all of my spies. I now have an entire turn to use this "attack" on someone. Even with rank 1 everything, you drop to about 2800.
