There is physically enough food to feed the world easily. this is a fact: All the food north americans throw out in a year alone could feed africa for 6 months. Ok, I'm probably one of the two people who cut his work earlier (Bastion might be the other ), so I'm going to say this:

If you don't have anything to say constructive, don't say anything at all. That goes for supporters as well as opponents.

Why? Because then, either A) It'll die out or B) If he keeps bumping it, a mod might move to a more suitable location like This and That. So, just let it rest, because flaming is contagious and by the looks of his posts, he falls under the group of people who are quasi-idealistic and want everyone to be happy right now, despite the impossibility.

Feed Africa for 6 months? You must be talking about the same sized portions they already go on, so really they are still barely making ends meet for another 6 months. Do you know the logistics that would require to do that, if we used other continents' food sources? The amount of gas burned, therefore also increasing the feared green house emissions? The amount of control the government would need to operate this drive, because they are the only group with the manpower and organization to do it? By solving one problem, you'd be contributing to more.

Maybe, next time you post you should think of your audience. There's military presence here. Infact, if you look a few threads lower, I'm sure you'll find CrimsonFrost's shipping out thread. So what? Militar are not interesed in politics? I bet they question from time to time why are they doing what they do. Look at the history of the Americas. The freedom from the spanish empire was acomplished my military. Our national hero (Jose Gervacio Artigas) is one of them. Later in LatinAmerica history we have miliar running dictatorship governments to impose the neoliberalism and crash all the new left-side ideas of freedom and change in the world. We are still trying to judge em for the crimes they made.
So, for me one thing is clear: we need to give the guns to ppl with an ideal, values and head of their own. I don't believe in the "following orders no matter what" thing. Many people see pacifism as the perfect way to end pain and suffering, but I personally don’t believe it to be as effective as they wish. If everybody is a pacifist then it works, but in this day and age there are people who won’t work together for it, even fight against it.

If you can, please kill it. The idea of posting this was to get feedback on what I need to change ,edit, etc etc. Flaming wasnt needed (xeno, I'd like to point a finger for once). People read the topic and the first post but nothign in between. They should know what I put this on here for before they start to flame my topic. And yes, siris' opinion matters, but he has been constantly feeding me attitudes and his blatant "delete this crap" isn't the idea of the post (however since people dont listen, I now wouldn't mind the topic being deleted). If you would use your head for thinking instead of flaming you would realize that equal force is one of the criteria set by the UN for a just war. If a war isn't considered just, then the instigator is up for war crime charges. In this case it measn the US, since they entered Iraq after an attack from Afghanistan. don't get me wrong, saddam was a ruthless dictator.

People dont pay minimum wage because the ycan't afford more, they pay it because they get the work done for the least amount of money. Businesses do take advantage of people.

I have read the book four times and there are no mentions of people using pregnant women as shields. What would you do if armed came into your hometown with helicopters and started parading through the streets silently?
