One thing that gets a bit annoying after a while is that there is nothing you can do about your lifers count.... I would love if there was a way to get rid of some lifers... Here's some ideas how this could be implemented:
1. Trade Lifers for UU on the game market
Obviously with some losses... say you trade 100% Lifers but only get 80% UU back
2. Trade Lifers for Naq on the game market
Only downside is that lifers are only worth 50% of the current UU price on the game market
3. Rehabilitation program
This would be a very expensive program... basically you would have to pay a lot of naq to turn Lifers into UU or miners
Reduce Lifers count / untrain Lifers

what is the difference between lifers or miners. you need units to generate income and if you have 50 mil miners you will never get to untrain them to turn them into spies or soldiers so it doesn't make a difference if their were lifers either
having lifers is only beneficial to you if you get hacked you can't loose them

Well the difference between lifers and miners is quite obviously that you can untrain miners while you can't untrain lifers... and there are times where you want to reduce your income to a minimum (e.g. when at war and you don't want your enemies to benefit from your naq). Right now if you untrain several millions of your miners to decrease your income, you will get in trouble when you train them later on again as your lifers count grows and grows... and in the worst case you will end up having most of your army in lifers, which you can never use for anything else or sell...

We've had this one many times too - the clue is in the name - lifers - the point being that you aren't meant to be able to untrain them or trade tehm to get UU. When miners were introduced it was basically a way to stop raiding - but a penalty had to be included at teh same time - thus the lifer was born.

Yes I can see that, but the game has evolved quite a bit since then. Army sizes are getting bigger and bigger... and the longer you play the more often you will have to train and untrain stuff, so your lifer count goes up and up...
And I also included penalties in my suggestions

My suggestion was allow AG's to burn them in the next wave of ascentions.
Only when you have done the first ten ascentions can this option be opened for you.

I'd be okay with your ability to trade lifers into the market using the three market turns you get per week and at whatever the exchange rate is for UU -> naq or UU -> turns. That would allow people who have gotten top heavy with lifers to meter those lifers back into the market at a loss. It also artificially limits the number of lifers that someone could dump simply because you only get three market turns per week and only five multiples of any one trade type.
I strongly disagree with anyone being to reclaim lifers into UU they can use however they choose in their account. The 10% lifer cost was the amount you accepted when you trained miners.

Its a tactical game, knowing when to do what and when, everyone knows you lose 10% to lifers, its a risk you take when training so many Miners.
Deep within Noob Cave, you find a strange pool filled with a glowing blue liquid. You think back to what your mother told you about unfamiliar liquids found in caves.
You're pretty sure she said "Drink it! What's the worst that can happen?"

i never liked the lifer idea..it was to prevent ppl from buying UU on market and selling them at higher prices and stop ppl from buying others MT to buy UU that was about it...but back then they didnt have the 50million limit..
...i would love a way to reduce it, i dont like being restricted it doesnt seem right in a way
i was thinking of using 3 MTs to reduce like maybe 10%-20% of lifers to regular miners or something

actually, there is one thing that would help smaller players catch up... give all players 5 mill lifers and 30k UP... bigger players might benefit from this as well, but smaller players would benefit more...

"Great holy armies shall be gathered and trained to fight all who embrace evil. In the name of the gods, Browsers shall be changed to carry the internet out amongst the peoples and we will spread Firefox to all the unbelievers. The power of the Firefox will be felt far and wide and the wicked users of IE shall be converted to use the true browsers."

Well with that thought, why don't we just take and cut every player who's got 20mill army or more and cut their army in half.
