Now listen up, regarding the GA, this is what happened:
There had been alot of claims for power, but Omega and EPA was starting to get an upper hand when they allied themselves. Note, they were just allies. At the time, the other most powerfull alliances was UTA and US, but we weren't completely able to agree on some things, so a full alliance wasn't established in the sense with Omega and EPA.
So, Puck and me, for the most part, is starting to feel that those 2 alliances together is gonna be bad news in the long run, and start to gather support and prepare for a massive attack to bring them to their knees. I think we had gotten the support of 7-10 major alliances at the time, including Dirty Dozen(under leadership of hobbes). The main trouble was disagreements on how it should be done, but overall we were in agreement that we would attack Omega.
Now, as we drew closer to the estimated date, people were starting to get worried and were thinking of jumping off the wagon, and at the same time, we got an offer from EtL to form the GA, along with the EPA. Now when some of your allies that are supposed to help you bring down your enemy are starting to get doubts, and the threat offers you a damn good deal you take it instead of risking to face anhilation alone. So, after some deliberations we figured why not, since we weren't really getting backed up anymore.
BOOM! The GA was formed with Omega, UTA and EPA as the original members, and within the first week of forming up, me along with GunZ and Balhaar, I belive it was(and two others I don't remember the name of anymore) laid down the rules and foundations of the GA. These were simple, but specific enough to be effective.
So there you have it! The GA was formed, and Omega was able to solidify their seat of power because you guys backed down the last time, and now it isn't gonna be a battle anymore, it will just be one of those eternal struggles where we are fighting for crumbs and scraps. Personally I don't see what the point or honor is in that, but hey, I'm having more fun now than I have had in a while, so it's all up to you. Of course you can blame yourself for your previous inaction. Had you actually not backed down that time, we wouldn't be where we are now, but I don't mind.
I love where I am now, and people aren't as bad as you say, but when you guys say they are a specific way without knowing them, well then it gets really hard to resist not to be that way.
So, now that we have that clarified, can we get this show on the road again?

It is a game, we all choose to play how we wish! But anyone that thinks they can sign on once in a while or attack a mighty alliance or coalition is foolish.
COPs only did what they wished as long as the remainder allowed them to.
Of course no one player or small alliance could change that on their own.
It took a New Great Alliance "The Legion" to be the catalyst of change.
Now with others seeing that it is possible they have joined.
Most are finding themselfs to be more prosperous than ever before, since anytime a Great Civilzation is invaded many riches are to be found.
I have no problem with players on either side. Every game you play there will be some dominance if allowed. Dont blame the top COP members who worked to get to that point. Even now I can see that COPs only has a handfull of "Active Players" and that the War should last a good long time. Many of which I have communicated with ingame and are good, civil, friendly people.
So as far as Propoganda goes "COPs are all evil and must be defeated."
Reality is COPs wont be defeated nor will CIA, this is the new game and the sooner we get the rest of the alliances on one of the two sides the sooner they will realize what a blast it is!

The smaller alliance have more to gain then the largest, they have smaller natural incomes and can benefit more from the large per turn incomes of COP members.
Not that I really wish to have a race with every SGW player to farm ETL etc...
I also belive they should earn more respect than a large one should.
As I have said before, I belive members will immigrate in and out of both sides as their desires change.
yeah, but I don't think that the CoP incomes were their first thought though. I think it might be revenge or something. That was my feeling when I jumped in the war GA vs The Faction. I wanted revenge against some people in the GA.

Hmmm I cannot answer that because Im not from a small alliance...but i think i can ball park it....and it might go something this:
Mr. alliance member says: Mr. Leader, why are we entering this war? I dont think we can fight them
Mr. Leader says: I know. It's all wrong. By rights we shouldn't even be here. But we are. It's like in the great stories, Mr. Alliance member. The ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger, they were. And sometimes you didn't want to know the end. Because how could the end be happy? How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad had happened? But in the end, it's only a passing thing, this shadow. Even darkness must pass. A new day will come. And when the sun shines it will shine out the clearer. Those were the stories that stayed with you. That meant something, even if you were too small to understand why. But I think, Mr. Alliance member, I do understand. I know now. Folk in those stories had lots of chances of turning back, only they didn't. They kept going. Because they were holding on to something.

Well everyone has their own motives. I really do not know everyones, many belive the COPs have not been Benevolent in their rule.
COPs will argue we didn't mass everyone, just those small alliance occasionally when we were training or any player with the audacity to hit us for Naq or UU or even attack one of our Officers who left 100k UU out...
COPs will also argue that only a few like Magius, Bryan, Priape would farm at will. But, still would not condone anyone striking one of them back pesonally. (I belive they could handle themselfs in any fight one on one)
The rest of the game were looking up and having to live on PPT and NOX/CRITICAL to prevent being farmed by COP members. While many COP members were arrogantly leaving Naq and UU out to temp them, with only a few Brave but suicidal players attacking occasionally.
Now there is game parity, Both sides must play by the same rules and rely on new strategies.
Numbers on either side do not matter at this point. If it was 300 vs 300 or 3000 vs 300 either side the war would probably be the same. The extra alliances just means that the spoils of war get thinned out.
Have Fun as I know you do, it appears the war is not enough for you, still massing small alliances I see Jedimaster and turning the hearts of the masses to CIA.
