1) all weapons are now equal in power.
2) yes - it is easier to get an offense than a defence.
3) if anyone wants to be a new race, email me with playername, ideally player ID, and what race you want (mailto:admin@stargatewars.com) -- i will do this for the next week or so...
4) the weapons are a bit more expensive compared to power given -- not 4x though! and -- with bigger weapons, you need less troops to get the same att/def power. less troops means less deaths. you are -in effect - just better.
5) you are not your old race. you therefore do not get their bonuses.
6) the 5% to att/def/cov/income replaces the old bonuses
7) if someone chooses to go back to the normal races, and feel something is unfair for some reason, email me and explain. since you 81 people are really the 'beta' for this, I can look at some things on a case by case basis.
i make no guarantees some things will not change (weapon repair costs, weapon cost/power, cost/power of super units, etc, or anything else). My goal is to have these races slightly weaker (but better balanced) than the normal races ... but -- with potential to get more powerful with reascension. I will not, though, make crazy drastic changes
