Would you like to explain to me how in real life someone can steal 70billion dollars? Yup, doesn't happen. That's why in some cases you can't compare SGW to RL.

When your/their alliance declares war on your alliance....no one in either alliance can go on PPT...then after the 5days of what ever it is when the alliance goes outta the " Alliance war " everyone can go on PPT...

Do you mean with it being total war, or even with 1 way wars?

Because if it is just 1 way that would negate ppt's, then you would see people making 1 person alliances, and then declaring war. After 5 days went up, another 1 person alliance would declare war on the same alliance, thus making them unable to ever use their ppts.

If it is only with 2 way wars...well, as it is with the current nox system alliances are hardly ever declaring 2 way wars. With this system in place people would have even less of a reason to do so.

So you're suggesting that I sell UU so that I lose income so that I can't buy turns and UU when the war is over? Just so that I can get some naq when at war to use to mass people? I'd rather go on PPT and not worry about my account for 4 days, then go raving mad destroying accounts for the remaining 3 days.

I agree completely, PPT is a valid war tactic.

I can't say I agree. PPT is a valid tactic, that much is true. But a valid war tactic? More like a get-out-of-war-free card. That said, I still don't think it should be unavailable during a war. War doesn't always come at a convenient time, and sometimes you need to get away. Besides, it wouldn't work. Whoever wanted to go on PPT could just leave the alliance for a while.

Its far from a "get-out-of-war-free card".... you still have 3 days off PPT each week at the minimum. it takes 10mins max to mass a defence that isnt on crit or nox, in 1 day you can mass an entire alliance the is off PPT and eliminate all thier stats.

what im saying is all it takes is an hour for them to find and kill you, therefore PPT does NOT get you out of the war.

He should. At least in wars. In peace, I could care less, but when we are at war, and the enemy sits on PPT - it's just ridiculous. If the PPT would not be allowed in war, I believe people wpuld have to think before using resources, as they would have to rely on farming and actual playing, than waiting for their income to pop up in their realm, while they HID under PPT...

Agreed... the ppt system is ridiculous, that a person can sit in an account and keep 4/7 of their income without playing at all is just plain stupid... Shouldnt be a ppt you can by off the market at all imo. (ss excluded), the bank thing should be separate to it also... At the very least ppt should be limited to once a fortnight or something...

People may also not realise it but having so many ppt's creates more attacks on the people off ppt... increasing how often you need to log on to bank average anyway.

This is going a little off-topic you think? This thread was designed for the discussion of people using PPT when their alliance is at war.

Off-Subject: The PPT system is not ridiculous, it is balanced just fine. If you go on PPT for 4 days then you will be open for another 3 days that week. This may come as a suprise but most people in this game can't support their full income (me being one of them). And I don't want to spend every waking moment of my life banking / spending my naq etc...

Say you go on a 8 day PPT. You would be off Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon, Tues, Wen, Thurs, Fri. That leaves your account in the open for 6 days.

On-Topic: PPT's (my opinion) primary purpose during war, is allowing an account that has suffered severe damage to recover. This way they can build up without interference and then counterstrike their enemies.

PPT could be more limited during an alliance war, that I could live with and i'm sure everyone else could too
