My point is quite simply...

Why is a LIVING GOD of a DORMANT AJNA still able to command ascended weaponry?

Been a lot of discussion about this recently.

I think that when people go on vacation on ascended they should lose ALL of their main bonuses. Then the only people that would go on vacation are the people who are actually going on holiday.

I completely agree. Instead of the 12 hours i spent trying to descend someone being a complete and utter waste of time and effort. Bad show Admin/Forum.

1 month without 30% bonus isn't worth 12 hours of your "work"?
But you are right. Instead of playing this game, you may do something what is not waste of time and effort. :p

They don't lose 30%, they lost 15% because just before they're out of ALF, they go on vac mode.

Let me explain...
As it is, to avoid taking the 30% loss for 1 month, an account merely hits vacation mode. Then, it still receives an appreciable 1/2 it's normal bonus... an irremovable bonus.

I fail to see where you conclude the complaint is about deascension itself;
It is about a major flaw in Vacation mode that allows an account to still receive 1/2 it's normal bonus, perpetually, without having to lift a finger.
If you are on vacation, you don't need a 15% shot to your offense, or defense in main... as you should be gone from that server as well.

Else, you are not really on vacation at all... just abusing the ascended server;
Just using Vac mode as a cheap way to avoid getting descended, wasting all your attacker's time and effort.

This really needs address... in fact, Iirc... It has needed address for a very long time now.

at last check it was only 14 days not 1 month....

at last check it was only 14 days not 1 month....

30 days with no bonus, 14 days no ascended account access.

I think the only difference in vacation and decention should be that vacation is optional.

They should have the same effect.

Those weapons are of their better race, ancients nano's tollans or system lords, the bonuses such as ascended blessing are all you get from the ascended being so they get halved/ destroyed on vacation mode/descended. It makes sense.

While I agree for the most part let me point out something.

How are your attacks wasted? If they go on Vacation mode they freeze in time and do not grow. You on the other hand do. When and if they return you have more power and AT to finish them off with. It doesnt stop anything. It only slows them down and lengthen the inevitable.

I have an idea: Let's link vacation modes so that when you are in vacation in one server you are on vacation in both servers. and then make it so that when you come off vacation in ascension, it takes a full day before you get your main bonuses back again. Because right now it is ridiculously easy to abuse ascension and I, for one, am sick of it.

Well they still get half their bonuses on main.
