10% and 1%

Ok, this is bugging me and I couldn't find this referenced anywhere in the forum.

at the top 10% you are to accrue 1 G&R point per turn
at the top 1% you are to accrue 10G&R points per turn

Last time I checked there are 60k+ accounts

The top 10% would be 6000 and the top 1% would be 600.

The game is not currently doing that. At present the line for accrueing G&R seems to be rank 1000 at a rate of 1 G&R point per turn. Where is the line for 10G&R points?100?

Why is this not matching up with the 6000 and 600?

Am I missing something?

Um.... I believe it's because 10% is waaay off
The figure I come up with are:

In the main server:
The top 1 player gets 10 per turn.
The top .2% get 5 points.
The top 2% get 1 point.

Also, make sure you're not confusing ranked with total.
It sould be 124+ get 5/turn
1213+ get 1/turn
10+ get 10/turn

i just read this in the help file:

To ascend you need a minimum of 1000 Glory and Reputation (G & R) points. These points are gained by being in the top 2% of all players in the rankings. (The top 2% of active players, so this number may be slightly different than multiplying the lowest rank by 2%). Each turn you are in this ranking, you get G & R points -more for the top .2%.

Then with that and what you quoted, this way it is does make sense then.
1200 or so would be 2% and 120 would be .2%.

I don't know where I got this 1% and 10% thing. I will have to find that.
