Mojo Rising and others (vacation mode exploit)

OK vacation mode was a knee-jerk reaction when I had two minutes on the computer during my easter holiday with my family. I didn't read, I didn't intend to circumvent the system. Godless heathens who cannot be trusted to keep their word started massing me and I went in the tank. These people ascended for the bonuses in main without playing the ascension server, which is circumventing the system as it was intended to be played to advantage your account. Therefore, all these people who are massing me right now are cheating and should be banned. Anyone disagree with me? My MSN is mailto:master_thespian@hotmail.com

Assencion server sucks, and as long as fourm took to get assencion implemented, who really thought itd EVER get implemented ?

Mate no1 wants to see you get baned... for the record. I dont think your actions require punishment, i also dont think stoneys and koskesh actions required punishments.. i was merly pointing out that there is some similarity in both cases and that both should be punished or unpunished.. im for the second.

As for the ascending only to gain bonuses.. it is a fair move to make, knowing you can get descnedned in the future. I personaly wish my ascensions were more powerful than they were but cant change the past (and no i didnt only ascend for the bonuses, but at that time i realy couldnt spare alot so i couldnt pump much juice into ascensions, what i could spare i did) and dont intend to reascend to correct that as it would cost alot, specialy for a server i dont realy like that much.
I belive ppl have the right to choose weather or not to play both servers. Some dont have time, some dont feel like it.. it doesnt matter, its still their choice.. whoever ascended just to gain main bonuses got just that. His ascended account is not worth much, and i think it was proven in the war that even his bonuses get taken away. The pll who ascended as they wanted to play ascended got those bonuses + an account in ascended that is actualy woth something. Now you cant say that it isnt fair, to be honest, you guys devasteted us in ascended... so the things you gave for ascended did proove worty, they asure you supremacy in that server, what else is there to acchive?

as for the "peace" talks.. i didnt know they were ongoing (being a HC member i think i should know ) i did talk to smoosh for a while, but no teporary cease fire was mentioned, also had attacks on me whole day so i guess those ppl didnt know either, but if there was a cease fire and ppl broke it i think an apology from the ppl who broke it is in order.

sorry for the long post, anyways just my point of viev, like i said. I dont know you and have no intention of judging you i just pointed out the similarities in the recent cases. Will try to add you to msn so we can at least fix that not knowing you part

Vacation mode on itself isnt a bug its the way you did it.
About being massed i think im telling you this for the 107584th time your in CoP maybe it has something to do with that.
Quit CoP and you wont be touched .......

The thing with koskesh and Stoney is made by CoP and admin gave into it as this is a similair situation i think punishment is also needed here.
Without this illegal vacation mode you would have lost your planets and your defence already so your benefitting from a bug wich you really cant denie knowing off.......

It is really funny to see how so many people stick up for you while they shouted to get Stoney/Koskesh even as far as banned.
This again proves how the players act if something is against them instead of helping them.

Call me a cheat if you want. Call me an exploiter of bugs (however those of you on vacation in ascension mode have been exploiting one for a few weeks now when you attack on main).

No way that I think you are a cheater or the like. I was merely pointing out flaws in the logic for the benefit of others who had said "That isn't a bug" or "Maybe someone wouldn't know that was a bug".

I have no doubt you didn't read or notice the ingame message before going on vacation mode. You are an honorable player and if my post implied that I felt anything different, you have my apologies.

Perhaps this thread should be in the bugs section so Admin Jason can fix it?

Kokesh and Stoney exploited a bug, their punishment was no Nox for a while.

Mojo exploited a bug (Doesn't matter the circumstances, you still exploited.) I would say, fix the bug, and give a fitting punishment to Mojo (Something like he can't make use of PPT and/or Vac mode for a while, Not banning)

And Raven, I am telling you for about the millionth time that I had assurances from your commander that I would not be massed whilst working towards a goal of peace. Your attack only further strengthens my convictions that, even were I to leave my alliance or if my alliance would leave CoP, that we would still be persecuted by CiA, because the word of the CiA cannot be trusted.

And I have already stated that I will take any punishment that Mark deems necessary. As I said, what I did was a knee-jerk reaction to being massed on Easter Sunday (the highest holy day of the year for me) when I was working towards peace and thought I had been granted a temporary stay. I don't read what it says about vacation mode when I go on it. I just click and go. I had two minutes. I am hereby reporting this bug to Admin. People are still able to go on vacation after being off PPT less than 24 hours. I took advantage of this bug unintentionally.

He admits that he did as accused but un-intentionally and I dont see him denying himself any light punishment. Up to admin mark for the rest.

WHen Ive gone vac mode in the past, I never botherd to remeber how long since my last attack.

I Just clicked vac mode, and if it woulndt let me, kept tryin ever 30 or so minutes until I could.

Ok guys this is another one of those grey areas like what happened to those guys that were massing reborn. Something odd happened or he knew a trick to do it... we can not tell... and it really doesn't matter which one it was, it happened thats it.

He has already said he will take what ever Admin gives him for punishment so what is there to debate about? Nothing. It's not petty, it's not cheap... it's a legit complaint. Now maybe it should be in the bug section instead but thats not for us to determine. Cheating and bug reporting isn't about alliances or sides... justice is blind. This is not a place for political gain.

Please check others like Vedil ID#7765 in DDE he seems to appear momentarily from PPT then onto Vacation.

I would really like a Gamemod to look into this!!

If he does it on purpose every week and has avoided the war for the last 4 weeks this is different.

Odviously he does not wish to fight in the war. But using Bugs to protect his account should not be allowed.



He was ranked 60 or so when he appeared off PPT, our team bought some weapons and prepared to strike and he was already on vacation....

Now he is back off Vacation and onto PPT at rank 52.
