Who's making assumptions now? Remember EtL, whenever you assume, you make an ASS of U and ME. If you ereally had this respect why would you impose the term master to be used by everyone when you don't know htem, it is an immature thing to do, if you had wanted the word modded, you should have changed in to EnterTheLion, not something which just comes accross stuck up.

When you truly understand the meaning and the culture behind it, come talk to me. You can't be called 'stuck up' for a title actually used.

You can when you are using it in a community that clearly wont understand the meaning. It shouldn't be used for the same reason that you aren't allowed to use foreign languages, it's elitist and and biased against anyone not from your culture.

if CiA decide that they can use "grey areas" in the rules, and not report them.... i suppose omega should too. there is a "grey area" that can demolish anyone's ALF in ascended, in 1 turn. 1.5m alf, 500k alf, it dont matter. certain people have been attacking in the last 24 hours in ascended... killy for example, thinking they are protected by 1.5m alf. there is that 24 hour limit to get onto vacation after attacking someone. if omega decided to use a certain "grey area" all of those people would be de-ascended.

So let me tell something...basicly, CoP know about a grey area on ascension which is not fixed and threatn other players in CIA with it? Shouldn't they tell it to admin (like EtL said they always do) and let him fix it? Or is this emergency way if CIA will win that they'll use this grey area on ascension after the war?

You say how u always tell bugs to admin, but then, you say u know about grey area that can be used in ascension and u didn't tell it to admin otherwise it would be fixed already...hm...this looks to me more like "don't tell anyone about a big grey area that can be used in emergency, but tell admin about little bugs such as -1 untrained unit when u train big amount of units into trained units"...realy nice...

That's cause you're DD and would tell it to admin...but *somebody* decides that it's better that only they'd know about it so they could even descend their, currently, friends, cause they're better on that server than them...and like I said, u guys don't need grey area to descend somebody while it looks like Omega does need it and don't want to tell admin cause of safety that they can use it in case of emergency...

well i dont mind it, and im sure a few doesnt either, and tbh u only get it if u spell his name and if u do that u either know him or dont and if u dont maybe u should just call him ETL, other than that all that speak to him knows what hes like

i for one dont mind calling him master, but he doesnt mind calling me his god either he really looks upto me

Well facts still remain:
- Rhett is saying publicly that Omega reports all bugs to admin immediatly
- Rhett says that Omega does not use grey areas/exploit bugs
- Bryan says that there is grey area on ascension which can be used to descend people in one turn and that Omega shold start doing that
- Rhett eventualy lies that Omega reports all bugs/grey areas to admin (if they would, there wouldn't be such important bug on ascension, as Bryan posted it, which can be used to descend people as admin would fix it)
- Omega is aware of it like Bryan said

Then Bryan wouldn't say that they can use it as admin would be aware off and could see who used/is using it so he would eventually have to ban them...while if admin isn't aware off, well we have a saying here in Slovenia: "when cat is not at home, mice have party"...I hope u get the meaning

I like that idea, because it would basically give the impression of an arrogant prat who has two much power, too much time, and not enough common sense.

I'm sure EtL has a better reason though.

well thats actually quite insulting as that term is still commonly used in by colonial families who where brought up in India, as ETL was.

Asian culture is all about respect younger siblings will not even call older brothers and sisters by there name will instead use older brother or sister, to give you but one example. Another is commonly a wife calling her husbands name by there oldest sons name and adding father. There are many many others.

And btw i live in the UK, was born here and lived here all my life. I am well educated and go to 1 of the best schools in the country. My family are are affluent businessmen / managers in various fields of computing and live a fully integrated life in western society. But we still keep some of asian culture and some if its mentioned here.

fact is in that culture you do call people master or sir even if you don't know them as a sign of respect. You'd do it too anyone, doesn't matter if you know them or not. In fact its a term used because you dont know them and you use it to make conversation during this time so youfferently. know them and can then refer to them differently.

i have had quite a few questions over the following post.

another grey area discovered during the war... when you are dev'd out during a planet attack, you still damage the planet. when i discovered such problem, i stopped massing the planet, and talked to jason before i continued... over a week later.

maybe CiA could report the lack of bonus to Jason.... but that takes moral's, not to use such "Grey area's" ill admit, it was a hard decision to stop massing the planet... as i clearly had the fleet power to do it...i just ran a really bad roll. but this is only a text based game... if you are willing to use "Grey areas" here, or not report them, or anything, what does it say about your character? in a game where it doesn't really matter if you win or lose, you need to cheat? what happens if something is important is at stake?

but in the end, it does not matter what i say or do.. i don't play, i cant stop you, i cant criticize you. only you, yourself know if you are abusing what shouldn't be abused. only you know whether you should report it, or do the right thing. and only you have to live with the fact that you need to cheat on some crappy little game to have any chance playing it.

take the high road, report it, or whatever. be able to what is right. this is your life, don't stuff it up. when you finally quit this game, be proud that you didn't cheat, that you reported every little bug that could have any advantage. take pride that every achievement you earned during this game was untainted.

and guess what.... people still are telling me im full of it.... it seems certain people in this game dont quite understand a few certain concepts..... #1, i dont lie. #2, i quit. i have no interest in this game now. STOP FRICKING IM me about the game, unless i talk to you first. a lot of you were on my msn....guess what, of the 400+ people, there is barely 75 left... and a lot of them come from my uni.

and to prove that i dont lie, and that i always have an ace or 2 up my sleeve, so to say... i made this post, even through i dont play anymore, and i dont seriously give a damn about this game anymore.
