Actually, my call for perma banning wasn't related to any of the offensive stuff been posted. I'm not offended by very much. I'm just tired of the and senseless posts and rather then have a mod keep deleting it, tok'ra whining it's been deleted, then having to watch a thread hijacked again. Just ban him forever.

Im hardly the only one to spam.

Actualy, some MODS use that as a tactic to get rid of politicly unpopular threads.

THey spam and derail it, then call for it to be locked.

Yeah other people do those thing but YOUR THE ONLY ONE THAT DOES ALL THOSE THINGS AT THE SAME TIME. That is why I dislike you I wish there was a button to just not show your post . Hey an Idea we all need the forums to do. If we cant get rid of you maybe we cant get rid of you by clicking a button to not show you. (runs to make a post for the forums)

You notice how tok`ra tries to make a legit comment and the entire forum just yells at him. They tell him to stop spamming and flaming and thats all they do to him. I mean sure tok`ra wasn't perfect in the past but I think he is actually trying to be better now.

I agree that the forum is worse off now than before. I blame it on tons of attack turns which enables someone to be massed at will. Massing used to take the work of a whole alliance just to be able to get enough turns.

I think you posted in the wrong thread man this has nothing to do with massing.

Actualy, his point is entirely valid.

AT generation is unrealisticly high due to all the trading of them going on.

That means people are able to mass at will, which means a simple arguement on the fourm can spill ingame much easier now, that AT arnt a resource that needs be hoarded for great farm hits and wars.

Exactly, the forum and game are connected and as such the atmosphere ingame will be reflected somewhat by attitudes on the forums. The forum now is uptight and hostile, I am sure it has nothing to do with all the "massings" ingame. The problems on the forum are merely symptoms of the cause in the game.

Now please dont talk about offencive, its all perspective. i personally dont believe in anything. i am more of a thinker then a blind follower. But saying something is offencive, you should be taken out back and shot, your just too fragile to face the facts of humanity, people dont agree.

If my name is truly offensive to you I will change it, I have no problems with doing so.... I will even change it ingame if you wish, however it may take a few weeks as I'm in a war and can't spare the mt's.

His comments were unnecessary, they were not simply saying that Jesus didnt exist etc... or even saying "I don't care"... he referred to him something like "I don't give a crap some B******D died on a cross"... I'm not sure exactly where that quote is, imo that is not needed in a public forum, regardless of what your beliefs or my beliefs are, stuff like that is going to cause offence. It could be rephrased as "I really don't care that or if Jesus died on a cross"... but the way it was phrased was unneccesarily aggravative... not a word but you get the point.

Basically the comment is disrespectful and is not needed on public forums, whether people are blindly following or making an informed decision, it is their choice to do what they do and other people must respect their decision in a public place.

On a more serious note, I believe that almost any post could be taken as offensive to someone. There is such a thing as going overboard in order to be offensive and that should be stopped.

Although a valid reason, your means doesnt justify the ends... You can point it out with less offensive language and people wont mind... simply "Not everyone here is a christian so why should we stop playing the game because of a holiday we don't believe in"... Ok mabye thats a little weak and it could be mildly harsher, but using language which no matter your beliefs you know will offend other people isnt needed on a public forum. If someone still doesnt agree with you... well thats their right to.
