MPDSD Question

Say I acquired a planet at 12:34 Game Time, it enters my system the next day 24 hours after conquering it. I activate the MPDSD for 1 day, but can I turn it off when I want, or will it still expire on the same time that i activated just a day after.

Same time just 1 day after
you can still access it and you get the benifets from it still
You just don't see it except on your Command Center page.
