I have told my alliance not to attack members of D U N E. Tell me if somebody will that I can deal with him/her immediatly please.

as for people joining here to rebuild to come out again, i think everyone will look on this in a very poor light. so the fool who would do this, would suffer the SGW fury aswill the vultures of the war, who if you look around have grown alot. while you have all been concentrating on this war.

there's something that confuses me a bit....there are people who I've noticed (in CoP mostly, don't watch CIA members closely, but I do think here are some doing it aswell) that are quitting alliance for few days and then rejoining (Corkscrew for example, then there was this guy Priller who did it aswell). Can you, EtL, deal with Cork and all others in CoP doing this? Because it's preety similar to going to D U N E and then rejoining the war...so can u please tell them not to do this anymore (I've watched Corkscrew closely for about 3 weeks and he's quitting and rejoining in weekly basis)? Because those go out of the war to rebuild and then enter in old alliance again...this needs to stop...be in war or go to D U N E, not be in war, quit to rebuild, enter back in the war,...

The leaving of an alliance & being on your own in a war situation is a good tactic, a lot of people attack by alliance rankings, thus removing yourseld from the alliance allows you more freedom.

I've been set as leader for Omega for some time now and would know it because I'd either remove him or he would quit and I'd get a message, plus he needs an invite to join, you're making it up or you're just mistaken, either way, you're wrong.

If you have left your alliance for whatever reason you have surrendered to the fight and if you have joined Dune, you have promised not to re enter the battle.

However, if you do not follow the surrender process outlined by Avitir in the Colosseum, then old attack logs can mistakenly be used to farm accounts that are no longer fighting.

STI and I are working on a process to reduce the risk of this happening again - its not perfect, but we are trying our best.

Patience on both sides will make this easier.

I wasn't intending to rejoin the fight, as I said, I left because I don't have the time to be in this war... 2 days a week just isn't fun, specially when I have to use the first day of my 2 days just to rebuild enough to fight back.

There aren't any old attack logs, it's been over 2 weeks since I was last attacked (from the time I posted the logs of Xerxes II's attack on me. PLUS I ascended before all of this, which would have cleared all logs, and messages and peace/war settings.

Enough from me, as long as it doesn't happen again, I am fine with what's arranged now...

Oh, and I'm still not following the "procedure" in the thread you (Robe) mentioned, still sounds to much like "surrender" to me, and there's no reason for anything to be secret about who applies unless they are giving up.

Maybe you just have to have a 2nd procedure:
1) Avitir's procedure
for those giving up (surrendering)
2) Join D U N E
withdrawing from the war/statelmate, or for those that would like to continue but can't for reasons they can't control. And YES, this means statying out of the war until it's officially ended (you can NOT rejoin your old (involved in the war) alliance until this war is officially over).

**I put in "involved in the war" because I know there are mercs joining both sides that came from other alliances not involved in the war, at least no openly...

Well i think i was one of the first person joining among STI but with clear reasson i do give oppertunity to peace offers going on at the moment and which ends tomorrow.

I did not made any attack this week. I did send polite pm to all those who attacked me that i'm giving my 2cents to the end of this war with such acting. Yet some people are too full of themselves (or Omega tag) and do not want to hear anything of stoping it. In that light are also all ascended attacks currently going on and some persons like CrimsonFrost try to descend me some 5,6times in last 2 days and so on. I did not answer anyone of them with force.

Also i entered ppt while in DUNE pretty soon after i joined so hope someone would not think i'm gaining any advantage out of it. I did train 100k supers to gain some 25bil defence but if war will go on i'm sure it will get destroyed as all til now.

Now, i always liked peace. Always the one to do sth about it. And probably the most peacefull person in TL lol But good acts and will should be shown from both sides. I did what i could but if some troublemakers still don't want to change their attitude on better light - i will keep on fighting with my mates in TL.

As written to STI already.. u can be hero in war but twice as hero if you know when it's time to stop. Do hope tomorrow some things will change on good side. And thanks to smoosh for trying. Earned my respect for that.

your more then welcome to join Dune,

But when you leave your allaince, you may find that getting back in, being trusted if and when you get back in, may be a problem.

So CIA stand down for an 8 day stand, and surrender take an 8 day ppt for all members, wouldn't rebuild too much, and see where the game is in 8 days with no attack between parties.

THat's something your leadership needs to work on. Never know what might happen if you take a step back you might just beable to see clearly to make a leap forward.

this is now being taken over by me i have pulled out of the war due to other things that have come up, but i have a little more time than jeff so i have taken control, all what jeff said still stands but im a lot more harshier if people get out of line and only join to build up then go back to thier alliance

yeah but we (well at least I) farmed him cause he was attacking us and we (I) know that he still is in Omega due to rejoining and quitting, attacking CIA guys, etc etc.

While the DUNE neutrality is being respected, I'd recommend that the members drop their alliance tags on ascended or change them to say DUNE. This will prevent any accidental massings on DUNE members plus show a pledge of neutrality.

well anyone on ascension my do so, its their choice i will not i can deal with any probs that r sent my way myself but i have stopped attacking anyone from the CIA, some have already done this but as i said its thier choice, i will not remove my tag in ascension because i am still Omega and there r some from CIA in this allaince now and im not going to force anyone to do something they dont want to

u never know u might end up hitting someone that was fighting on your side so maybe its best to check which allaince they r in first

reborn, I understand. The only problem is, if I get hit on ascended and that person has a DDE tag, my first reaction is to log onto main for vengence. Often times, the thirst for blood is too strong and I spool them up for a massing.

While people SHOULD check before doing so, mistakes can be made. I was just making a suggestion that would prevent any mistakes from occuring.

If they don't want to drop their tag, perhaps a tag like "Omega-DUNE" would work?

their is only 2 from omega in this alliance me and S T I and we can hold our own, r tags will not b dropped up there

i know the point u made was a vaild one but if any of my allaince members attacks any from the CIA or even the other way round by attacking COP members they will b removed, taged by me then will b dealt with in due course

all know they can change their allaince tags if they wish as i said its upto them

if u spot any that havent y dont u ask them y they havent change it
