Ok.
This is what has happened.
I have a raw up of 13k, I have a total up of over 61k
This is from officers & planets.
Last night when I logged off my up was 61k.
When I logged in just now my UP had dropped to 58k.
I checked my planets their all still there, my officer are all still in place.
None of them have ascended, my officers income is still set to 30%.
So what the hell is going on, did I just waste all that naq to have it taken by a bug?
Anyboby else had this?

The Normalcy Bias
The normalcy bias refers to an extreme mental state people enter when facing a disaster. It causes people to underestimate both the possibility of a disaster occurring and its possible effects. This often results in situations where people fail to adequately prepare for a disaster, and on a larger scale, the failure of the government to include the populace in its disaster preparations. The assumption that is made in the case of the normalcy bias is that since a disaster never has occurred that it never will occur. It also results in the inability of people to cope with a disaster once it occurs. People with a normalcy bias have difficulties reacting to something they have not experienced before. People also tend to interpret warnings in the most optimistic way possible, seizing on any ambiguities to infer a less serious situation.

Do your officers have officers? A change in your officer's UP would cause a change in yours, especially seeing how much of your UP is bonus.

I'll ask them but I doubt it, most don't have officers & as far as I know they are not really interested in getting them.
This has never happened before, and the fact that it dropped 2k without reason when the turn changed, nothing in my account was different at that time to cause the drop.
I was looking though my officers stats and again nothing had changed???

This has happened to my commander a few times. We figured out that when he logs in and his up only reflects my raw bonus. Fearing that my Up planet had been stolen I logged in and as soon as I logged in, his Up reflected my raw and planet bonus. Weird huh. Not an isolated incident. happened on a couple of occasions.

that would seem to indicate that its an inactivity protection to keep people from benefitting from inactive accounts, thier effect diminishes as thier inactivity increases?
maybe?
